What's the legality of using these things? I wanna burn some old wood I have in the garden.

What is it for though?

Thanks OP just reserved the last one at Telford.

I'll be using this to burn old receipts/paperwork - cheaper than a shredder!

excellent for burning evidence, I prefer the chimenea (sp) though as they hold there heat and this looks like the ash will fly around everywhere.

I got one for the tramps living under the local by pass, they say it's sturdy, burns well and allows easy burning of surplus cardboard and rags that they tend to collect. They rate it 7/10

No, it's not. You cant burn household waste but wood is fine as long as you'd consider it a bonfire and meet a few other crieria. We do it in one of these quite often, but check with the neighbours first .

Hmm not really - I tried that but it set the smoke alarm off before the marshmallows were toasted and all the ash made hell of a mess on the carpet

I am currently using this in my sitting room as I don't have a built in fire. It's nice and warm although there's a fair bit of smoke and it has singed the ceiling slightly.
