/\ should that be £5 voucher? or have I missed something?

might get this, I've been using these @£1 each - "151 Interior dehumidifier, Absorbs damp "
for condensation in wardrobes, caravan etc but I've spent £25 on them already...

You Jest??

I bought this over a year ago, Excellent value for money, works a treat but is noisy.

I bought this for 39.99 @ argos in the summer it must be the time of year when they put the price up, it's ok just

I got a similar one from clearance bargains and have found it fine - except for the noise!

one of the reviews
Does exactly what it's supposed to, a little noisy, but when I wrapped a strap around it, the noise stopped. Definitely worth buying and good value for money. It was bought to clear the moisture from my caravan which it did in no time and now we are using it in the house as well"

I edited it from £10, should've said £5

3rd time lucky ... hope you aren't on early shift today

I got this yesterday, not very much cheaper than others but I had £50 in vouchers anyway. it's doing it's job nicely, and I like the look of it, last time we had one it was a big metal thing too heavy for me too move and it broke. I got the 3 year warranty with this, so it's not more than £30 a year + juice. Dh has told me to save the water for the steam iron! Re the noise - it's the same as a fan heater. If it's noisy the case is rattling and needs a gentle push to stop it.

Thanks for taking the time to post this info, doesn't sound too shabby for the money and the cheap 3yr cover is a no-brainer.

How noisy is it?
I want to leave it running over night in our bedroom so I really need it to run whisper quiet.
Could you sleep with it running in a bedroom?

sounds like a fan heater, much less noisy than our microwave. I couldn't sleep with it, but I can't have ticking clocks or a purring cat in the room either. When abroad I could hear the fridge from the bedroom and it drove me nuts and I don't know if there is a totally silent dehumidifier. I'm going to run it during the day when I'm not in the bedroom and let it rest at night. Today I've had the duvet off the bed to give the mattress a chance to get super aired. There is a point where the air could be too dry ( friends daughter bought a humidifier for her nursery) so I resisted the urge to get a more powerful one.
