Having 'was £10.99 now £6.99' in title might generate more heat as folks may think £6.99 is normal price and vote cold ?

Have some heat from me anyways.

have this one over a year now.. good

hot! reserved for pick up!

this one might be brill for puddings yes I did say pudding sin slow cooker if you think im mad find slow cooker pages on facebook

While that's very cheap, 1.5 litres is very small for a slow cooker. I'd say 3-4 litres is minimum because all cuts of meat will fit in that.

This will be good for a stew, but not for large batches of food or meats. I have this:

argos.co.uk/sta…htm

Which is only £5 more and it'll be much more superior if you want to slow cook (which you should, because slow cooking is amazing).

Very good price for a small slow cooker, for couples this would be an excellent purchase.

Perfect for someone on their own. Mega heat mucker

Yep, my husband and I use ours regularly - this make, in fact. It makes at least 8 portions, ie 4 meals for us, depending on what the dish is.

Good price for a slow cooker!

good price but not sure what youre meant to cook in a 1.5litre. I have a 6 litre Morphy Richards which is a decent size, actually means you can cook whole joints of meat etc..

This is a good slow cooker but too small if there more than 2 of you

1.5l is a lot of soup, stew, curry, chilli, etc if you live alone or just the two of you.

You'll find it difficult to cook a pork shoulder or kilo of beef brisket in this - which makes me wonder - what's the point?

You can use a slow cooker for much more then meat.
Its like saying what's the point of a medium size frying pan when you can't use it for a 24lb steak.

Maybe the pork shoulder, but absolutely not on the kilo of brisket. I regularly cook a kilo+ in this very model.

quite good reviews on the argos website too, heat added
