Cheapest around at the moment? Good reviews as well! Can be mains or battery powered.

Just checked and it's the cheapest online deal for a DAB radio at the moment on HUKD. Whoop I did something right for once!

link works fine

It's been 12.99 for ages, but I suppose this is £1 cheaper.

people on here would cop if 10p off

we have one of these in the office - very good for the price

was £16.99 for ages then dropped to £12.99 when I bought before Christmas - listening to it now - very good value for money - hot

If it was a windup 'd buy it

Does it come with an AC adapter? A lot of reviews keep talking about batteries.

since the new Argos website links rarely work, even links of Argo's website shows that dinosaur

why buy that radio when you can buy this one for a few quid more?

Seems to have stock back. Just reserved at my local store.

For me, it would be to have 5 physical pre sets for DAB & a physical sleep timer, not to mention a smaller radio. However if you need none of those & want probably better sound via speaker then OK

I wish BBC 6 Music was on FM instead of Radio 3. Much better music and presenters and has more listeners.

I've bought some of these cheap DAB radios and the sound quality is usually very poor. Save your money and buy a Roberts or other make.

Good value deal, voted hot. No use around here though as the DAB signal is virtually useless (can only pick up the main BBC channels and one or two of the others unless you are standing on top of the house roof and holding the ariel at exactly 75.34 degrees North West!!)

Would rather listen to my missus fart than this

I bought one of these on Monday from Argos (paid £1 more but that's fine).

The sound quality is more than acceptable for the kitchen when listening to Talksport or Planet Rock. However I now also want a DAB in the living room (where for some reason I'd demand a much better sound quality) and I expect to spend at least £50+ for that one. So for £11.99 it is a bargain if you are not looking for top sound quality and I also like the white colour for the kitchen (just a pity the power cable is black!). It does not seem to support DAB+ if that ever happens.

Do be aware that they must have changed the model a bit as mine looks slightly different, eg round buttons and they are laid out differently. Sadly the instruction manual still relates to the one pictured and the method to store channels did not work, fortunately I worked out how to do it but it's a pity Argos don't manage such things as I bet they will get a load back that people think are faulty......

I got a DAB radio at Christmas (although not this model) and the signal was poor in the house. I couldn't even pick up any of the national BBC channels. I returned it and tried another model with the same result. i brought that one back too.

For anybody interested in DAB, click here to see if the reception is OK in your postcode.

Be warned though .. it showed everything would be OK where I live, but it wasn't

From images on Argos there is a 5V DC in socket and a headphone socket on the back of this radio.

Good price! Heat added

Thanks for the link. I tried it but it doesn't seem to cover BBC channels. It doesn't list any for my whereas if I use the BBC recommended coverage checker it shows I should be able to pick them up easily.

thanks op

Bought it today. Have to say it's even better than I expected it to be. More features than I realized and great quality for the price.

Bought one today, sound quality is not amazing but good to stick in the kitchen.

Says the item cannot be found?

That's a shame, I was going to buy a 2nd one.

bought one myself. its ok for price.one good point is the power supply will charge my Pure One Flow Internet radio. managed to get 2 power supplies.. as had to take first radio back as its not very good with headphones plugged in. you get that annoying hissing sound, second radio is the same. but works ok on speaker.
