I had one, awful quality. You have to go very slowly and lightly, as the frame twists very easily. Even being careful it broke after 2 uses.

Cheers, will give it a go, gotta be better than a hand pump.

Will this work with my "inflatable friend" i call juicy lucy as she has been a bit down in the mouth recently and what with valentines day coming up?

The price is good, but I am not sure it will stand up to much use.

Cheap, but, there's probably a reason. I have had a poor quality foot pump before and as previous poster said they just twist and distort easily. Unless you need one for an immediate crisis I suggest buying a better quality, if only to save the frustration.

Thankfully, i do not need a pump for my athletic balls ;-)

Will be great for the floe system on the caravan, getting one.

FFS its £1.49. I bought one for the car and its less than the cost of the phone call to the RAC to come get u off the A1 with a flat tyre and no spare! Appreciate its not going to be the best quality but if it works once it'll be worth it for me. hot hot hot!

Great deal, it may be poor quality but if you need to inflate a tyre in an emergency which is usually the case then this will surely do the job

I purchase one last week for £1.99, great for bike tyres and footballs (adapters supplied) but not really up to the job of car tyres. Bargain at £1.49.

So I rushed out and bought two. Used one to pump up a friends tyres and the plastic lining inside the barrel that connects to the tyre valve got all chewed up - didn't fit the valve properly.
It was difficult to get back off the valve, it let out a few PSI every time I tried to remove it. Ended up having to overinflate tyres to compensate

Good price, but I would argue not fit for purpose. I had one but destroyed it within a week.

That post says £1.99 not £1.49

Does this work with presta valves?

Good price, hot for you.Worth to buy.

work out cheaper than the petrol you would use looking for a petrol station with an air line that was working. even if only lasted a couple of uses voted hot

Why not buy one that will last you more than once and keep it in the boot rather than buy one that you will have to throw away afterwards. False economy.

I sell them - they are crap.

What can you expect for the price, if it lasts a year jobs a good un. Hot. Good spot op

Its not a case of lasting a year, more the time it takes to pump anything up because you're always trying to straighten the frame. I love a bargain, but, really this is a true case of you get what you pay for.

Surely a decent quality pump for a flat tire would be a smarter idea, after all, if it fails to do the job you'll have no choice but to call someone out. This thing couldn't manage 2 bicycle tires, good luck with a car...
Seriously, the things some of you people like to spend as little as possible on makes me laugh sometimes.

Bargain but get a double one for car tyres.

I've had the same problem with loads of these mate, even the double barrel ones.

Been using one of these for 7 years! Still going good. Useful to check Tyre pressure occasionally and to inflate in an emergency. It is small enough to keep with the spare tyre.

Thanks OP!

Just in time to inflate my girlfriend tomorrow!

Get this and you will end up feeling deflated! Flaccid- let down- definitely not pumped up.

Actually I have had one for a good 10 years or so, looks very much the same and got it from Argos, still going strong. I bought the double as a back-up
If it is the same manufacturer, they have obviosuly tried to reduce the cost of materials by using tin foil and plasticine instead of steel and hard plastic
