Only 1300 mAh but they're rechargeable and will be perfect for anything that's not totally power crazy. Seems decent value for £2.99 a pack.

Of the 3 stores in my city two have plenty of stock, so hopefully others will find stock too.

no good, cold

1300 mAh are shamefully low capacity

1300's are 10 year old technology, spend half your life charging them.

Well if you already have a 1300 charger, like I do, and need some more batteries, then this is a good deal, no need to vote cold if it's not a product you need, that's irrelevant, this is still a good price.

Rubbish batteries, cold sorry. Get 4x 2500mAh AA at Aldi or Lidl for the same price.

Sorry cold from me too - whilst it is a big reduction it's because these batteries won't last five minutes in high drain devices like cameras and toys - therefore it's a bit of a false economy.... better to invest in these 25mah for £4,29 instead - 7dayshop.com/cat…592

Buy four packs as I did and they come down to just £3.69 each and they'll run your digital camera etc no problem...

P.S You can get a Panasonic charger for £2,99 too! - 7dayshop.com/cat…589

Not even close when you can get these delivered for only £1 more.

I voted cold because you can get these from my local pound shop the 1300 ones and as already pointed out cheaper or not much more online to buy much more powerfull ones people are voited cold because of this not because they dont want these ones

So your the one that bought that 1300mAh charger then. I guess the old theory that you can sell any old crap if it's cheap enough is still true then.

You mean 2500mAh, not 25mah

I agree with you - 2500mAh is really the norm for AA cells, and 1300mAh is a painfully low capacity.

Given that half the recharge batteries sold come nowhere near their claimed mAh - after tests - I vote hot.

I'd sooner pay £5.40 for 2500s from mymemory

I wouldn't

I would buy these 2100mah "Good to Go" ones from the same retailer:
hotukdeals.com/ite…820
For most people, the slightly lower capacity is outweighed by the low self discharge, so they stay charged, and as such just as convenient as disposables and at £3.99 or less, significantly cheaper too

IF, and it is a big if, you vitally NEED the extra capacity, and you accept the inconvenience of needing to charge them up just before using, then I would go for the Vapextech ones: vapextech.co.uk/aca…tml @ £5.75 (or less) for 2900mah

Any way of looking at it though, those in this "deal" post are just Xmas turkeys

So you mean these are going to turn out to be even LESS than 800mah?

Stick a couple of bits of metal in a lemon http://www.mpoweruk.com/images/lemon.jpgfor more oomph! :whistling:
