It will get very hot but I feel as if it's come too late this time. I have done all my Christmas shopping by now!

kl thanks, and i thought my christmas shopping has finished... must resist... running out of money...

this is a bit of a strange one.

i spent £105 last weekend in Argos. they gave me the vouchers, but its made up of smaller vouchers and they told me i cant use them all at once. have to use one on one day and the other the next!

i thought she was joking

Was your shop in a newly refurbished or a new store? It's a standarded opening/reopening offer that they do, in that they give you 2 x £5 or 2 x £10 vouchers for the £50 and £100 spends =)

Only thing to remember is that the delivery charge cannot be used to take you over the amount to receive the free vouchers, so a £105 spend (as above) may have included a del charge so 2x £5 vouchers are received =)

no it was in store at Leicester Belgrave Gate. standard store - no refurb i dont think?

dam i just spent £220 yesterday...

thanks

This off only just ended couple weeks ago, nice to see its back again
Unlucky for all those who spent 100s in there in past 2weeks

Just to remind people if you reserve online and you order is worth few hundred make sure when u go to pay the person at the till splits your order up so to max out the vouchers
Example £250 worth out goods
Try to split into 3 orders 100 100 50 that way u get £25 in vouchers rather then just £10

Argos sell clothes?....

good deal these!

It was 2 x £5 for £50 a few weeks ago. I used my November £5 to buy battieres yesterday. I'll spend my December one Friday and get more batteries. The only thing I need without sending money.

Can you still buy vouchers to qualify or have they stopped that now?

What???? You can do that in Argos??? I might've missed hundreds of vouchers now

I'm never one to knock a deal, but always wonder why the argos vouchers get so hot unless I'm missing something? Is it not just basically a 10% voucher you have to spend at least £50 to get :{, or a 9.09% saving as you have to spend the voucher at argos anyway.

Yeah they do this in the hope that you will end up buying more than the voucher twice so they make some money from you to boot. Odd marketing ploy I think.

These deals come and go. They are always good. Heat added.

ive tried this for a washign machine today and it only gives free delivery its £189 and doesnt give the £10 for over 100 quid spend.

hmmm went to purchase a £100+ item and no mention of any £10 voucher so holding off

how does it work online do they just send the voucher with your order?

The vouchure is on your reciept.

If you bought loads of stuff recently.

Buy them again and keep the new reciept with the vouchure.

Then take back the new items with the old reciept for a full refund.

you've got 16 days - take it back and buy again!

Spent over £100 there yesterday

This is a HOT deal only for ARGOS .
Their prices are out of line nowadays - every time a punter spends with them they are laughing.
Just compare their prices.

It depends as I'm interested in a Nikon D3100 and it's the cheapest price I can find at the minute!

Just in time for payday

If you plan to spend say £150 instore try and split your order up to one of £100 and one of £50 and you will get £15 in vouchers other than that you will only get £10 for spending £100 in one transaction.

Not really.. depends what you buy and when you buy it.

Bought a microwave earlier that's selling in most places for £70 for £54
along with the £5 voucher seems a good deal IMO.

Its all about looking around, if people just blindly walk in to argos, flick
through the laminated book of dreams then they deserve to be caught out,

nobody holds a gun to your head and makes you pay over the odds
at argos.
