Sounds bought right tbh. Last Christmas I bought this, Lego train set (90) & got a hatchimal (75) free. Averaged out bout £60/£65 each I did see This recently at full price. Can’t deny it’s a steal £69.99 Gotta be a savvy shopper these days :)

It was only £120 because they bumped the price right up purely to put it in the 3 for 2. I was stung by that last week and discovered everything in the sale was half the price everywhere else. Loads of people have been complaining about it on social media. I wanted to get this but didn’t think it was worth the £120 price tag from the pictures. Good to know it’s decent though if I change my mind before Christmas

Yes the frame will rust, i have mine a 2 years now and it's still fine. We remove the scoreboard and the plastic/net run and store them indoors just leaving the frame outside.

Thanks. bought one!

100m should be regarded as a minimum for swimming.

Once I realised what you were alluding to I did some reading (rather than 40minutes of YouTube) turns out dynamic water pressure is nonsense! Either way, I'm not sure I'd gamble on 30m WR for swimming; I wouldn't mind washing up in it, but I don't think I'd trust it in the pool after owning it for a while without getting it pressure tested first.

grumbler £24.99 delivered

I've got this one, it sometimes appears on Warehouse (I'd say how much but it'd just come off as a humble-brag). Boyf pinched it for himself. It has nice turquoise illumination which lights up for around three seconds (unlike the A168WG-9EF I have - annoys me immensely), which I prefer to the amber or white LEDs Casio usually have, even though it doesn't have as long a lifespan/uses up a bit more battery. Works perfectly. Raised an eyebrow at a few reviews mentioning a fault with this model, .."after about 2 years, the watch keeps resetting itself to 12:00 January 1st, 2005 for no apparent reason. A call to the Casio Technical Help Line was most revealing - I described the fault and the girl immediately told me the type of watch I was referring to. In other words, I was not the first!" Worth being aware, but hopefully Amazon or Casio will have my back if there's problems. Casio's Customer Service has been great, in my experience.

Of course they are, price matching is what Amazon do. Once they've destroyed the competition kiss goodbye to those deals.

Yeah, exactly. I'd rather be seen with the Betron headphones than something with Ben Sherman labelled on it.

I agree with you, but Ben Sherman is hardly a brand worth shouting about which makes this even more cringe.

A cheap "KASHIDUN" or similar brand watch from Amazon (about £8-12) is probably going to be better, and get a pair of Betron (Sephia) headphones like KH685 for less than £10. Paying a lot of money for a brand name slapped on some cheap china tat.

It's around that magic price of £30 where buying second-rate items doesnt seem so bad. The fact you're getting two things makes it seem like a Christmas bargain. The fact of the matter is you'll get a light, base-metal watch that looks okay and will outlive the cruddy strap that will be beyond economic repair once it goes and the headphones will sound very mediocre until one of the ears give out. It will be exactly what it appears to be: two cheap things that aren't very good, but probably alright at least for a while. A cheap stocking filler and nothing more. Is it a hot deal? I dunno. It is cheap though and the two year guarantee sounds good but won't cover wear and tear to the strap.

This was the worst 'let's try our brand name on something else' product ever though; Absolutely awful - and clearly always bought from a catalogue!

For those talking about prices vs then and now, most Casio digitals have plastic cases which, I assume, is what makes for the cheap prices nowadays, compared to the past. One of those strange situations where the digital copy of a Nintento title is actually cheaper than it's physical release. [ Digital Version ] Best Price I can see for a ph… Read more
Get dealGet deal

There’s clearly some wider issue with digital pricing. I believe one of the theories is that console manufacturers rely on “brick and mortar” stores to sell hardware. If they aggressively priced digital games, it’d effectively kill high street gaming. Though my immediate thought there is that there’s always Amazon etc. I don’t fully understand it :/ But yeah, imagine a gaming utopia where AAA new releases came in at £30 digital. No boxes, no discs, no shipping, no retailer cut... It seems like a no-brainer. Or look at Game Pass on the Xbox. I paid £48 for a year (a regular no-hassle offer through the console dashboard), and I’ve *already* just about made my money back by downloading Forza 4 on release.

If downloaded games had a third the content of the physical media because the images were more highly compressed then I think quite a lot of people would probably buy the media... I don't disagree. It would be nice to see the price of the digital version rather more closely reflect the reduction in costs of the supply chain (by removing a retailer altogether) instead of it simply being a cash cow. If the price was lower I wouldn't miss the selling it on aspect so much.

Digital downloads can’t be lost, stolen or damaged. There’s also the convenience factor (like you say) of being able to jump between games at will, which I think is arguably even more appealing for a portable console (when travelling/commuting, for example). And not everyone feels the need to feed the parasite that is CEX. With digital downloads, everyone who plays the game pays money to the developer. Why should CEX benefit (by doing F all) and the developer lose out when you pass around a single physical copy between multiple people? Like it or not, Game Pass and PS Now are the future of gaming. Gaming’s Netflix, if you will. Who the hell buys DVDs anymore? In a few years’ time we’ll laugh at the idea of playing games from a disc or cartridge.

I find digital amazing value. As I just gave 2 accounts with a total of 24 games to my 5 year old niece and a nephew from different households access. Which they can play at the same time and then I play when their occupied. So easy and then there is digital from smyths at a great price plus coins

Got the digital so hadn’t been on look out for this but decent price and I do love physical on switch!

There is a dearth of reviews for the above Motorola MDC500 dash-cam ( there is however reviews for other models in the range mdc100 & 400 ) This is a fair review of the Nextbase duo dash-cam the main issue is that front & rear cameras record in only 720p whereas the above Motorola records in 1080p at the front & 720p at the rear, the Nextbase therefore has difficulty performing well at night due to the low resolution recording;
