Thanks Vera & welcome to HUKD

There is a ~ £7.50 delivery charge which needs to be added to the title.

done :-D

thanks edi

Thanks Vera

I think the p&p is £6.95 + VAT which is around £8, anyway leave it for now.

Please note that this is a flat-rate p&p and buying a few things together will be a saving.

Right,
Shipping is ~ £8.17 but stays the same if you pick something else.

Nice find.
Welcome to HUKD

This is a wild helicopter - you can control the power and rotate but not the direction. It's also a powerful little thing, when my friend flew it for the first time it shot straight up high into the sky and straight over some nearby houses, carried by the wind. So he spent the rest of the afternoon going round houses knocking on doors to ask if he could check their garden for a helicopter! It was eventually found sitting perfectly in someone's garden. It's not a brilliant helicopter but it's a good laugh and for this price well worth it.

For those looking for a bit more control, I'd recommend the Bladerunner II helicopter - it's more expensive and it's an indoor helicopter but you get full control with it, once you get some practice with it the helicopter flies really well. Made a video with a friend, it made video of the week on Firebox

Not denying that this isn't an awesome helecopter but they've been at this same price for at least 6 months now. I've been tempted but the postage is just too pricey.

That's why I advise to add a few more things (if needed) to justify the delivery charge. I have a NZ office colleague, a great fan of Aria, who goes around now & then grouping people for Aria orders. We all order bits and pieces & pay one flat delivery charge

I bought one of these a few weeks ago (they are on the Aria 'super specials' all the time).
Great fun, but kind of hard to control. Try weighing down the front end with blue tack or the like to make it go forward then you can steer with left and right.
If you fly these with any wind at all they will just go where the wind takes them so wait for a calm day.
You get a good 10-15 minutes flying with the battery fully charged.

I agree about the shipping. I ordered some blank CDs and other stuff to make it worthwhile.

Its worth noting that you can only order 1 item at a special price. Any additional items will be at standard price.

Edit: I should also say that I am totally amazed at what you get for under £20... helicopter with rechargeable pack, control box and charger and all decent quality. All you need is a few ( i think its 8 ) AAs for the controller and you're away. Long live Chinese imports!

Looks like a good laugh. Only thing putting me off is lack of directional.
Nice find and welcome

The Bladerunner II appears to be around £60 from Firebox et-al. However the following looks similar and is only £35 delivered - i.e. Indoor, 3 channel, fully controllable, twin rotor etc: Though flight times etc. may be less.

That one seems to be for indoor use, it is much smaller.

It is smaller and for indoor use but it has full control which may be to some people's preference - the outdoor helicopter from Aria has no directional control so it's more limited in what you can do. I'll see if I can get my videos of both uploaded on Youtube or something later.

John

Nice one John,
Thanks for the videos

Thanks for all the extra info and videos That Bladerunner II looks very good and the Aria model great fun, as long as no one gets in its way

Please remember to vote on ALL deals and leave reputation for any post that deserves it Thanks!

Okay this is making me think "do i want a Helicopter :?:" Yes i think i do.....okay whot do i look for if im gonna get one 2 channel 4 channel whot does it all mean.........?????????
Great post by the way id buy the one youve posted but i wouldnt pay that P+P for it.

seen sum on ebay but as normal thers loads and woudnt have a clue of gud or bad.

chuf - I'd recommend you have a look at the two videos I've posted as they show you the two main options. The Aria helictoper only has two directional controls, so you control the rotation and the up/down but you can't make it go forwards or back, the wind will govern that.

The Bladerunner II has full directional control so you can control rotation, up/down and forward/back but it's more expensive and indoors only.

John

Thanks for that john watched the videos and i must admit me indoors with a helicopter is ringing bells the outside one is whot im lookin for cant do any damage to the wife then  have u seen these ones on ebay whot do u think of them u seem to have a gud knowledge of them.
thanks

I found a video of this helicopter on a German web site. They sell the same helicopters for 60 euro so much more expensive over there.
