Cheapest 4 GB of RAM kit I can find in DDR800 flavour.

Timings are respectable 5-5-5-15, runs at DDR800 (aka PC6400)

If only I wasn't trying to stock up on 4 GB of Ballistix RAM

Don't forget QuidCo!

Ok, seems this is a cold deal - anyone care to tell me WHY it's a cold deal?

I would also like to know why is it cold and if there's something better out there, since I am looking to buy 4GB of RAM these days.

I can only say that, for 70pence more you can get corsair ram which are most likely better as far as i can tell these are pretty much aria's own brand, dont expect much from stuff like that

Although this is for deals and so i vote this hot.

Worse timings, and you have to pay postage (unless you get Free Postage from Scan).

Plus I think XMS2 sucks balls - Yet to see anything "amazing" come out from them, however their Ballistix line own (but thats what happens when you cherry-pick D9 RAM chips!)

This is nearly a tenner cheaper if you add another item for 34p to get free delivery, slightly worse timings though.

Or if you want some memory with better timings than the Aria you could get this for a tenner more.

I guess people are voting cold because there are lots of diiferent 4GB kits around, some cheaper some dearer. Which is best is down to personal choice, experience and luck if you plan on doing any overclocking.
