Not seen Ariel 40 wash down at £5.50 for quite a long time, seen it for £6 recently but not quite worth the bargain for £6. At £5.50 comes at 13.75p per wash which in my opinion is a bargain as Ariel is one of the top washing powders, it’s hard to find it this cheap. Ariel POWDER, has also come number 1 in the which test results. Powder is usually better for whites and better for the washing machine too.
Product Description:
  • When you look good and smell good, you feel good. And it all starts with getting the best wash for your clothes. That’s where Ariel Original washing powder comes in. It removes tough stains by cleaning deep down in the fibres and prevents them from setting in. It even removes the stains that cause bad smells like sweat and body odours, leaving your clothes looking and smelling brilliantly clean. It gets to work at 30°C so if you want to keep your whites bright, reach for Ariel laundry detergent. Wash your clothes again and again with confidence. For an extra boost of freshness and softness, use together with Lenor fabric conditioners and Unstoppables. Ariel Original is also available in washing liquid & pods. 40 washes based on 65g per wash.

  • Outstanding stain removal in the 1st wash
  • The powder dissolves quickly without leaving residues on clothes
  • Brilliant cleaning on whites as of 30C
  • Helps lift off dried-in stains
  • Reduces the grip for dirt and for stains to set in
  • Leaving your clothes looking and smelling brilliantly clean

  • Pack size: 2.6Kilograms

cold from me zxin anything over 10 p a wash is cold. with the huge amounts of laundry posts that you get on here most are 10 p and under.keep posting the deals
This does not meet the Holy Grail of 10p or less for either washing powder/liquid or dishwashing tablets...therefore you must be banished for life

Lol, you might’ve seen Ariel LIQUID for 10p a wash or less, but never have I seen Ariel POWDER for less than 10p a wash. I bet loads of surf lovers are going to comment saying “rip off” but surf has to be used at such a large quantity to even wash the clothes properly so there’s no benefit in buying that, in the long run you’re just wasting money on something that people rave about. If this was Persil then you would’ve found it for 10p or less but even I’ve been looking for that but haven’t found it.

Surely the liquid’s equally effective as the powder, therefore this offer’s a duff buy? Also powder could eventually gunk up your machine if you don’t rinse it with a 95c wash regularly.
Yes deffo agree , you won’t find aerial 10p per wash . It’s best laundry powder out there . I bought surf once a few months back which was approx 7p per wash a big 120 wash box but never again ! Went back to using Ariel . It’s by far the best . Don’t waste ur money on anything else . I prefer powder over liquid . Cleans clothes better

The gel is better than the liquid. But I prefer to use the powder because it keeps whites white and just seems to keep the machine cleaner. However, Persil bio liquid is much much better than the Ariel liquid and has come as the number 1 liquid on which

I was going to say Persil liquid also beat the Ariel Gel

Yeah, completely agree with you, dad brought me Surf from morrisons when it was on offer for £7 I think it was a 90 wash and was not good at all. I finished the box but would never buy again. I tend to stick to Persil bio powder and Ariel because they seem to keep whites white and colours don’t fade either. I’ve also noticed with other “cheaper” powders you have to use a much larger quantities compared to Ariel and Persil to get clothes properly but it doesn’t make economical sense to do that in the first place, I’d just rather buy a powder which is at a reasonable amount and I don’t have to use mass quantities. Btw I don’t know if you use Persil bio but they have it at Farmfoods for 2 for £20 for a 100 box so 200 wash for £20. That comes in at 10p per wash. But I don’t know if that deal is National.
