Today I've seen Arla Skyr Icelandic style yoghurt in Heron. 69p for a big 450g tub! Only had the honey one and the strawberry one. Think it's the cheapest I've ever seen it..
Fat free and high protein

Super hot!

Excellent price....HOT.....if you cannot get to a heron store, then Asda currently have them on offer at 2 for £2 (usually cost around £1.85 each)

Hot deal I was just about to post it! Got the honey and the strawberry flavours at Heron Newcastle 69p dates 31/1 ..selling £1.50 @ Tesco/Asda £1.75 Sainsburys.

This stuff is lovely. Especially if you put it in the freezer for 15 minutes before eating.

Interesting.. my mum used to make yoghurts herself and freeze em and I'd just eat them straight out the freezer (maybe leave em for 5 mins) they were so delicious!

It's a shame so few places (eg Waitrose) sell the real Icelandic Skyr and not this ersatz Arla stuff, which bears little resemblance to the original. A bit like Nescafe claiming to be real coffee.

Products like this may encourage people to buy the real stuff though so it'll appear eventually

Lidl do lovely Skyr yoghurts big pots (sorry can't remember the exact size I think it's 300ml or so) plain is 89p while fruit ones are 99p. Rasbery flavour is well yummy.

Icelandic skyr is made in Iceland. They can't really produce enough for overseas demand. Even if they could, the export cost leaves little margin for profit.

I agree though Arla skyr isn't as nice as Icelandic Skyr. I always clear the shelf in Waitrose X)

3 for £1 in fulton foods. Bb 31/01/17. Not sure if dates are the same at herons or not.

Haha i can't comment on that as have never been to that store. It starts tomorrow but has been allocated to stores today, if you have a vague idea of delivery time there then go around that time.
