I don't get these. If it's wireless then it needs batteries or to be charged. So am I supposed to buy another set of cameras to use whilst my other set are charging?

Edit: even the fact I need to charge them is a bit inconvenient when talking in terms of home security...

This is the 720p one. The Arlo 3 is out soon, I'd wait for that or the 1080p one to drop in price

Arlo 3.... or Arlo ultra has been out/available for some time now, I have both the arlo pro and pro 2 and am happy with them, you do need a couple of spare batteries to keep save any down time
Pro 2 is well worth the extra cost over the Pro. As for inconvenience of charging there’s obviously a trade off with the convenience of not having to run power to inconvenient locations. You can always buy additional batteries and a charger and if you do have easy access to/need a power supply you can buy an adapter (although the Ultra/Pro 3 are better suited to this).
Black Friday will be cheaper

you can buy the solar panels for them or pop them on charge when at home during the day which is what I do or get spare batteries. Much better than trailing wires everywhere, I have the Pro 2, not this particular older model.

Arlo Ultra is 4k.

The upcoming Arlo 3 will be 2k.

Night vision has gone on my Arlo Pro after just 3 months use. I'm having a nightmare getting them to replace it. They keep telling me to check my settings to see if my night vision is switched on. Genius, why didn't I think of that!

I’m still expecting a power source. Some have solar panels. But I was mainly expecting it to be a WiFi system but still requiring it to be always connected to an outlet. Still less wires and easier to install than something like PoE unless you have powered switches. Don’t get why you’re trying to be rude tbh
