Pretty nice deal if you don't need full HD resolution for the footage. To be honest, I have one 720p camera and it is already a decent quality.

Eufy are good, but my personal favourite is Reolink. I think they are thd best value of all. The Argus range has good reviews: Argus 2, Argus Pro, Argus Eco. The Eco was reduced on Amazon to £55 including a solar panel which is usually £25.
Otherwise, the Eco comes on sale now and again for about £48-60, the Pro for about £60-70 and Argus 2 for about £70-80.
Got my Pro (Still sealed) directly from Reolink website, delivered from Germany. Most reviews on YouTube and online are good, perhaps you should have s look.

This price is not bad, voted hot, however I still believe Reolink is better value if you find a sale.

I've got 4 Reolinks (1 outside). Had two of them for 3 years now. They've done the basic job I needed them for... Just about.

Great cams for the price but a few "minor" issues (some not faults I guess perhaps corners cut to sell at a better price) I've been putting up with have become a a major priority due to self-isolation.

So I was eyeing up the recent Eufycam offers but Reolink were just too cheap... I grudgingly ordered the Argus Pro you mentioned with solar panel and also an argus 2!

Like I said great cams for the price. Depends what your requirements are. Mine have changed-increased so looking into alternatives.

Thanks HUKD

I have this exact system and have had for at least a couple of years now and paid a lot more for. This is the original model so isn’t HD, and doesn’t have audio. However, the resolution is fine for me when viewing through the app on my phone or on laptop. Night time imaging is fairly decent too.
If placing the cam outside you may wish to buy an additional mount for it, which I did.
In addition, while the instructions say you can’t use rechargeable batteries in these, I have done just that since buying them. Be careful how you position the cam as it requires movement across the field of vision to trigger recording. You get 7 days unlimited storage for recordings which has been ample for me, but you can upgrade at an additional cost.
Thanks for taking the time to reply. In the past few days I have considered the Eufy 2C and the Blink XT2. Both were £180 - £200 mark. So I guess it comes down to either of those or this Arlo system. There doesn’t seem to be any offers for Argus range at the moment.....
Arlo arlo arlo, anyone in. It heat from me
Anyone has the Argus pro? What your experience with it?

The pro and solar panel package is current on sale for £65 on Amazon
What's the best camera to get continuous footage?
What stops me from getting the Reolinks are that the recorded content is kept on an SD card which if someone pinches the camera then its lost. Is there any way around this?

Wow that's a pretty good deal, just purchased! Does having them connected to the solar panels mean they don't need to go into a "sleep mode" for faster startup times?
This is considered HD ready, otherwise known as 720p.

I have had one for years, and I feel this is a decent price. I use rechargeable’s and they last me about 3-4 month.

Camera is over front door and gets triggered 10-15 times daily.

I know the Reolink are cheaper, but what about picture quality. Especially at night?

Lots of positive reviews on YouTube including night vision. The best for night vision seems to be Argus 2. Most of reviews suggest Reolink is better than Blink and even Arlo. The Eufy ones are relatively new, so do not know if there is any comparison. I can't tell you about mine, as it is still sealed, got it after the summer was gone.
Also, Reolink is not necessarily cheaper, it is only if you find them on sale. The Argus 2 price is usually around £100 per camera.

I have the Argus Pro, unfortunately I can't tell you how it is, still sealed, waiting for the summer.
£65 with the panel is a really good price. They are usually about £75 without the panel. Got mine directly from Reolink for £56 without the panel and never seen it lower than this. The panel itself is £25, the cheapest I came across was £20. I think the only better deal was on Eco, £55 with the panel, however Pro seems to be a better camera.
The only difference in between the Pro and the superior model Argus 2 is Argus 2 has better night vision and magnetic stand.
