Good price, but somewhat dated at just 720p (1280x720) video recording resolution. Also notice that the recorder does not support 3rd party ONVIF compatible cameras.

Additional cameras start from £105, so better stock up while the price lasts.

  • Motion events can be set to automatically record to an optional external USB storage drive, but will not be viewable in the cloud/Arlo app.
  • Motion events recorded during an Internet outage will be recorded to USB storage only and therefore not be visible in the cloud/Arlo app.
  • There is no option for continuous recording to USB storage.
  • USB recording is only limited by available storage space, not the subscription time limit.

The Arlo camera system comes with a rolling 7 days of free cloud recording, but pay monthly plans are available.

Try Reolink Argus 2 or Argus Pro, good quality and cheaper. Usually around £80 to £100.

Voted hot for the price but I think I will go with Reolink as full HD.
I have the Reolink Pro (with Solar Panel) and rate it very highly!

You're welcome! Where are they 10% off? I keep an eye on reolink since a while ago. I can tell you that Argus 2 was about £95 a few days ago on their website. Slightly cheaper about 2 weeks ago when i posted a deal that was rejected. Argus Pro was about £80, now is more expensive. I believe they've put their prices up as their website suggests Prime prices starting with tomorrow, so may worth to have a look again. Also, 2 weeks ago, once added in the basket, you were getting another 5% off as first order. So, argus 2 was about £83 and the pro was about £72. These were the cheapest prices ever probably, as I am looking for this camera since a long time ago.

If you're interested in Arlo, I posted a slightly cheaper deal not long ago, have a look.

Gone. Why does it get pulled?

Probably because Reolink does not pay its share towards them, I do not know. I've asked and got a vague and irrelevant answer. I posted Reolink deals via Amazon and were rejected. I've posted from their official website, with delivery from The UK, again, was pulled out. Instead they allowed reolink deals via Gearbest or Ali Express. Does not make any sense to me! This deal was pulled as well. Does it matter who sells it if it is via Amazon? No, because you get your money back!

There is a 20% off voucher under the 10% saving, collect the voucher and get the Argus Pro for £70. Excellent price IMO.

If you're interested, Reolink has a very good deal now, I think only until tomorrow, on their website for Argus Pro. I've just ordered one, reduced to £59 and with first order 5% discount, got it for £56.50. This is by far the best price I've ever came across. I wanted the Argus 2, this one was reduced too, but still over £20 more than the Pro version.
