played arma and arma and the arma 2 extras - amazing game, realistic but damn hard - billions times better than the terrible unrealistic cod

Arma 3 is STEAM only. The only thing you get by going with a retail box will be the DVD.

You sure? On GMG the digital download version lists a requirement for steam, but the physical version doesn't mention steam anywhere, and checking the serials that will activate on steam, this isn't listed.

Looking forward to the Steam machines next year so I can finally play games like this without needing the space for a high end desktop PC.

COD's meant to be realistic? What crack are you smoking? COD is a light hearted arcade shooter, the dev's know this & the whole gaming community know this. Arma is a military simulation which is developed to be highly realistic.

It's strange to think that you've been comparing those two games. Weird, infact.
