Saturday 28 June is Armed Forces Day, when we want to salute the great work Britain's servicemen and women do. So if you're either currently in the forces or have retired from them, get your voucher, bring it to your local Crown carvery on the day, and we'll treat you to a meal on the house*.

Brilliant thing to do my son is in the army and will be showing our support on armed forces day

Great share. I thought I hit hot but think it's gone down a degree or two so maybe I missed - sorry. My husband's serving away so can't take advantage of the deal but good for anyone else serving and at home at the moment.

Which very rarely happens.... (And often when it does happen it's someone in the army who requested the ban)

Used to be available for the full week for soldiers providing their military ID, now been reduced to just one day :-/

Everywhere I went in the states they gave me money off or something free for showing a military card !
