Is this one use only? Or can you use it each day until end date?

Hi all, Don't suppose anyone knows of anything 'big screen, big gathering' for the England match in Birmingham on Saturday do you please? Of course not as big as the Sunday match, but would still like to watch in a good atmosphere if possible!

nyxlea1 Hi. Is the expiration date meaning once you claimed free mticket it expires even if you don't activate and use it or expiration is time you have to claim free mticket before the 3000 are claimed?

Is this a bus ticket only or is it valid for trains? Anybody know if it would cover me on a train from hooton to Liverpool?

I had bailiffs at my front door last year for forging one of these in 2003 (bailiffs, not debt collectors). I was 18 at the time and got caught using it by the inspector, I got a fine that I didn't know about sent to another address. Nearly 15 years later the bailiffs turn up and add a £300 call out charge to the fine, it cost me about £450 last year, he was banging like a hammer on the door and was shouting through the letterbox at 7am (excited) I won't repeat what I said to him (:I

Brilliant just got my free ticket nice one nyxlea1

Does this work for beds and bucks day ticket ? Anyone tried ?

I use my original account to comment on this post about the invalid code last night, but then today, my comment was deleted and my account was banned.

Did anyone manage to make this work? I installed it on my phone, set up an account, added the ticket to my basket, entered the code and it took the price to zero. Then a screen containing javascript errors came up saying the purchase won't cost anything so I just need to confirm it. Clicking the confirm button didn't do anything. So I installed it on another phone, and it won't let me buy anything because the phone's rooted.

It's only a one day ticket, you just choose which day to use it. It's available in these areas: North East Yorkshire North West Wales Midlands Beds and Bucks Herts and Essex Kent and Surrey

The ticket isn't working

Hopeless app on Android, keeps crashing. Works better on iOS, but says the code is not valid

Doesn't seem to work in Telford, despite the fact the one and only company that run buses here are Arriva :\

ok this is getting silly now. Day one was fine with my little 3" Alcatel . day 2 no problem my Samsung 4" core prime... day 3 the daughters iPhone. I'm stuck now on day 4 using a 10 inch tablet. I feel a bit daft showing screen to driver but thats gonna be nothing compared to tomorrow when I get on with my 32" smart tv and plug it into the buses 3 pin mains socket so I can power up the app to show my ticket. bejezzus. the things we do for a bargain these days......

Does anyone know how to log out from paypal after purchasing the ticket on the app? I tried to log out by clicking my paypal account but it just purchased another ticket. How can i sign out of pay pal in the app? I tired sign out from the arriva bus app but still my account is in there.

You should try filling up at a petrol station and then drive off!! oO

Arriva Trade your transport

Cartakeback collected my Nissan Micra which was beyond repair and only good for scrap. £140 in my pocket. Not bad for a small car that was 17 years old with over 110k on the clock and knackered.

Varies a lot, and depends on the car. I once scrapped a Citroen AX, which is mostly plastic, and the guy who hauled it away was not happy. I think a big saloon can get above £200. It has fallen back a bit recently. Do ring around, I got different prices from different scrapyards last time, and you should get more if you can take the car in rather than have them collect it.

What will a scrapyard give for a car generally?

Useless for those over 60 (who have a free pass anyway). I have a scrap car, but am waiting for a better price.

I take it this deal would really only be beneficial for people who's cars really are ready for the knackers yard? I mean why would I trade in my £3.5k BMW for £235 of tickets....? Not voted either way as I'm sure it could be a good deal for people in the situation I've described.....

its the same here. arriva are the only ones in redcar so you just have to lump it. prices to up to cover wage increases (drivers have gone on strike several times & think they are on £8/hr now!) & fuel increases but wont drop prices when the fuel went down  plus all the buses are knackered and are cast offs from northumberia/newcastle. well i'm gonna be trying a far more reliable & cheaper service on friday....... bicycle! a straight 5 mile path all the way to work and will save atleast £700 a year while gtting fit! :whistling:

Agreed, but in my area Arriva are the only bus service we have, we are six miles from "civilisation". The fares are extortionate, without a Teen card my kids wouldn't be able to get out and about anywhere.

arriva in the north east are a joke! i only take 10x20min bus journeys a weak but in the last week have had 2 buses not turn up, 3 buses break down (1 of which was a replacement for 1 that didnt turn up, which had broke down also!) 4 buses that were late & 3 that went early! (this is early morning buses which constantly go atleast 5mins early!) if you complain you get replies from arriva from all over the country! EXCEPT arriva north east! aparently they are a bit inundated with complaints! LOL just got a letter this morning from arriva liverpool saying that they are sorry and that my complaint has been passed to the concerning manager who will reply within about 10 days........ which then means the end of it as you get NO reply from arriva north east! :(
