Do these not suffer from bad condensation in the colder months?

Yes, and unless your a midget you will have to watch you dont bang your head.

Definitely not half price. sure the 10×8 is £299.

Don't do it, these are awful sheds. I bought one and returned it, aldi beans come in stronger tins than this thing.......buyers beware.

Big mistake buying one of these. As pointed out they are very low. Nightmare assembling them .... Millions of nuts. Nearly lost a finger or four. Bad design all round. Condensation. Rickety doors. I tried returning mine from the off but had left it too late.
Waste of money. Time and effort.

I quoted unfit for purpose and barely disassembled mine, they advised me to "wrap or re-pack it as best I could" and they arranged a pick up and refund. Worth pushing them on the quality issue. Mine was fully built, not sure I should use the word built though.....

i have one of these there crap. the amount of bolts is silly. the doors too low. the door slides off the runners. the handle where you lock cracked so i had to fit something else

im moving soon it wont be coming with me

so..good alternative? Want something just for storing a bicycle. Thanks

Once constructed properly these are strong as hell and never need maintenance. I have a 9X7 one and its in as good cond now as it was when I built it 5 years ago. They are like the biggest meccano set in the world though, so you need to be handy with this sort of job.
Does suffer from some condensation, but they are vented well and the condensation evaporates well. Or you can just line the ceiling with thin sheets of polystyrene or something.

Bought mine from Yardmaster though, likely to be better quality than Argos.

So yours is a different shed purchased from some other company. yours may be strong as hell but that has no bearing on the fact these are rubbish.

If you like a rusting eyesore in your garden, go for it! Otherwise, avoid these sheds, they're a completely dreadful design!

same got one 4 years ago solid if built properly .all doors work ect

Brilliant shed! You need to have a very level, even foundation and providing you have put it together properly these sheds are absolutely rock solid. Condensation is as much of a problem as any damp issues in a wooden shed...
Had mine for nearly 2 years and visitors still comment on what a great looking shed it is.
Best shed I've ever had!
Great shed, great price, heat added, thanks for sharing.

agree with last couple of comments, you need to start with a good level base. build it slowly, carefully and tighten everything properly.
don't expect to build it in a few mins...allow a good half day with two people and it will be solid for years.

I have one of these and a larger 10ftx8ft one almost identical that i keep two motorbikes in. great for the money.

I have one this size in my garden. I put it up last year and it is very sturdy. I used a raised wooden decking floor as I read it stops the condensation cycle and I have no problems.
I would say these are great value at the price. They take a long time to assemble, as someone else said they are a lot like mechano.

took me and my dad 4 hours then put doors on next day

I guess there are those that can build these properly...... and those that cant.

Visitors still comment on what a great looking shed it is. Really? Wow, I bet BBQs and parties round your place are a riot!

Enjoy putting these things together, it's a nightmare! if you're an impatient got like me anyway! finish it in one day, or the flimsy frame might get buckled by the wind!

oh, if your over 5ft tall, u too tall for it!
