After last seasons exploits , the second greatest end to a league season. Heat !!

Regardless of which team you support, this is the greatest end to a season of all time. Needing two goals to snatch the title away from Liverpool and scoring in the last minute to make it 2-0, not even city can match that! Heat from me... Obviously

I think the city one for pure shock and the modern day added tension of all the games being on screen, we could see the man u players celebrate assuming they'd won then Phil Jones face crumbling as reality hit, though on the otherhand Liverpool at the time were a powerhouse so I feel that even it up

Is this one from the 'history' section of the Library?! It was amazing, remember listening to it on my car radio!

Arsenal 'its up for grabs now' <----- Not with their current squad it isn't! Fail to beat Bradford away, but manage to beat Bayern Munich 2-0!? Something is seriously wrong somewhere.

Actually, it was the worst end of season ever.

Fortunately it doesn't look likely to ever be repeated.

Haha! Yes I can imagine it can't have been a happy day for the scousers. Liverpool are only slightly worse than arsenal at the moment and arsenal have been dreadful this season. At least both sets of fans have some incredible memories since that season!

Must be an old DVD!

Don't forgot QPR when they get relegrated

never been relegated gooners!! heat

I ain't no Gooner but remember that night like it was yesterday, I think it beats Man City's achievement simply because they took the title from the team they were playing & on their own patch

we finished in relegation places once but never actually played in the lower division thanks to league reorganization and a good chairman, so I don't get your point?

Probably wise to look at the clubs history before making silly claims. Granted, Arsenal were put into the first division to make up the numbers after finishing 6th in division 2 but they have also been relegated previously in 1913. It's a great record...... So no point in glossing it further with silly "facts" that are untrue.

ha, I think the 1913 reinstatement was all the same relegation from what I can see, but you are correct, my defence of the first guys comment was based on me misremembering the fact, I thought it was that we got reinstated without having played but the controversy was that we hadn't finished in the promotion places, I'm guess the other guy is getting never being relegated with having the longest current run or something

But you were relegated and you have played in the 2nd division.

Where the confusion lies is the fact they've never been promoted and only put in top flight football to make up the numbers.

Yeah, hence why i said you were correct, like i say i got the fact slightly wrong, but it wasnt me who initially said we never had been, looking it up did lead to me seeing that we were the most consistent team over the whole of the 20th century apparently, so cheers for that
