There are deals for 7dayshop just about any day of the week.

Where have you been, Jupiter?

No mention of Windows 7 compatibility, and specifically doesn't work with XP 64 bit, so perhaps explains the price!

@nihcaj

none of your business but in case I was hasty I googled company and think my scepticism justified.

Difficult to see a good deal from these people

Wherever your world is located then, your search engine must be bust too.
Best current deal from them on this site is probably this one:
hotukdeals.com/ite…820
Red hot.

Plenty of reviews:
eg. camerapricebuster.co.uk/vie…=72
dooyoo.co.uk/onl…ws/
trustpilot.co.uk/rev…com
Pretty much as good or bad as any online retailer... all of them are a bit crap, but if you know a better one, then stick with it, I haven't found any that are any different, and I must have tried just about all the common ones!

Always found 7dayshop to be very good, been using them for years. One of the best customer services I've experienced when I had a keyboard that was faulty.

:? but what if you want to watch it when you have no broadband?
Or you have limited broadband use?

ditto - great service over the years and great prices....hot from me this as using tvcatchup needs a broadband connection, this doesn't!

More to the point, Freeview HD is coming this year. Can't see tvcatchup competing with that.

i thought this would be good for those who want a portable tv but can't afford to buy one but already have a laptop they can use with this which will do the same job!!

To be fair, whilst 7dayshop are excellent IMO, this item probably isn't the best. Trying to get freeview through one of those sticks, especially with an aerial like that is just asking for trouble! Not too sure about the comment about HD, I doubt very much this would be of any use with freeview HD either. Tvcatchup may well catch up with HD content but would probably be limited to home broadband use.

Any company has bad reviews, personally I've only ever received good deals and good service from them.

Win7 32 and 64 bit drivers

At £15 it could be worth a punt, especially since it looks like it will also take a regular coax arial connected with the adaptor it comes with. Decisions, decisions.... hot deal regardless.

Never had any problems with 7dayshop and been using them for years. Free delivery too nowadays

Ok guys, I ordered the thing on thursday last week, and it arrived today thursday, 7 days. Very slow delivery time not happy.

The quality of the product however is not bad for the money!!!!

The antenna does pick up channel but if you have a laptop ( like I do) and you move it around when its on your lap, then you some times lose a clear picture. So I use a normal antenna!

All in all excellent product and I would NOT recommend it!

4 out of 10 star!

7dayshop ship from the channel islands so you don't have to pay vat, that's why they're cheap. Downside is things take a little longer to come.

Hello guys, I feel I need to tell warn you about this crap **** product!

Its not worth the money trust me!

First of all it dont pick up all channels.

2nd. There is always 1-4 channels that dont work (ALL THE TIME) it changes what channel but there is always 1-4 channels that dont work! When ever I press on one of those channels i.e BBC world then the ting crashes and when I restart it recrashes because it opens the last channel I had on (BBC world) which is not working 85% of the time! Other channels are BBC 1 and 2, ITV 2, ITV 2 +, and the normal ITV.

3rd. When ever it crashes the only way to make sure it works, is to click really fast on another channel. This must be done within the first 0.5 seconds of starting the program THATS RIGHT 0.5 SECONDS!!!

4th The thing goes in white every now and then and I need to go and fix the brightness as I can not see anything!!

So many bugs that needs fixing, and when it happens 10 times a day..... DONT BOTHER BUYING THIS SCARP!
