Next best price is on Arteza's own site (which uses Amazon for fulfilment anyway).

Somehow, my order ended up costing £15.80, probably as a result of some discount voucher I'd previously added, so look out for that when ordering!

Thx. Ordered the pack of 24 instead as it was £11.70 with £1 off voucher. I know it's not such good value as 48 pack, but I don't need that many

According to various YouTube channels, Ohuhu has a good reputation for these Copic-like alcohol markers. If you'd prefer to buy Arteza, these would be a closer match: amazon.co.uk/Everblend-Painting-Coloring-Sketching-Organizer/dp/B07QYBSC2K

Slightly cheaper from Arteza direct: arteza.co.uk/pro…120 or for a smaller, 60 marker set: arteza.co.uk/pro…ers

Fair enough.

You can get cheaper alcohol marker brands (e.g. I bought a set of 60 Pachock (possibly TouchFive, according to branding on the pens) markers for £16.99 as an Amazon Lightning Deal a few weeks ago: amazon.co.uk/gp/…tle

They're mostly OK, but one was dried up, and some of them showed signs of leaking. I wonder how long they'll last. At best, I think they're "seconds", which might not leave the best impression for a Xmas present.

...she really wanted ones with brush tip, and possibly chisel at the same time, so do you think that Arteza water based would be a good alternative for amatuer?

The brushes on these handle quite differently to felt-tipped alcohol markers - both in terms of feel, and blending. Apples and oranges, really.

Maybe look for a smaller set of Ohuhu? amazon.co.uk/Ohu…SFE
Thanks op.
6% TCB too

Definitely do not get water based instead of alcohol, its a completely different type of thing. Ohuhu alcohol brush markers are the cheapest decent brush tip alcohol marker you can buy. The only way you could buy better would be if you bought her copics and they are ridiculously expensive.
Also if you do get them just to let you know the ohuhu brush tip is reversible so when it starts to wear she can just pull it out and turn it round. Unfortunately they are not refillable but when they start getting dry you can top them up with rubbing alcohol to get some more use out of them although this may make the colour paler.

On that point, Arteza sell replacement nibs for their Copic-like Everblend alcohol markers: amazon.co.uk/Eve…GPH
Damnit just missed it so had to pay £22.49 on Arteza's site.

Unlucky! For future reference, Amazon's Black Friday price was just over £21, before any discount vouchers, so slightly cheaper than Arteza's direct pricing.

Generally, Arteza's direct Cyber Monday prices were very good, but my deal for their Everblend markers was deleted due to, apparently, "insufficient independent feedback". I swear some of the HUKD mods don't want actual deals on this site!
