I see the supermarkets definitely not contributing to the problem of binge drinking through cheap booze then....

Hey here's an idea...don't drink them all in one go..
they had the extra strong guinness in 500ml bottles at 4 for a £5 before , its a much better beer , stronger and a bit bigger bottle, i guess this is as cheap as it gets for standard Guiness though but Guinees doesnt can well
anyway thats my breakfast sorted

500 ml should be standard but people have been tricked into this 440ml stuff, either 500 ml or a pint

In Scottish stores the 10 packs are reduced to £6.67 to get around the multibuy law.
FYI I was in B&M's Lincoln the other day and they were selling 8 packs for £4.99 and 10 packs with a Guinness Glass for £7.49.
I spent £21 on seven pints in my local on Friday so £20 smackers for 30 cans of pure heaven is good by me.

Would you like to try explaining that concept to a zit-faced 14 year old in a tartan baseball cap?
I ordered some today, so hope they arrive. ASDA has been a bit iffy lately with my orders and giving absolutely crap substitutions that work out far more expensive, so have been sent back.
Picked up 10 cans with a glass for 8 at asda yesterday so this is a good price

It's the same beer. Only difference is the extra stout variant is blended down with CO2, while the canned variant is blended down with NO2. ABV difference is 0.1% which just means one has slightly less water added pre-packaging.

Ah, of course, the streets of Britain are crawling with the thuggery of trouble-causing, 14 year old real ale enthusiasts.

Oh, you were just complaining for the sake of complaining? As you were.

If I were in charge, there would be no sales on alcohol or sugary food. And I am not alone with that idea - a lot of reports have called for the same.

hmm, not really a binge drinkers drink. You'd struggle to enjoy your night in any form with stomach cramps and the next days trip to la toilette, well you wouldn't forget it that's for sure.

Im bloody glad you not in charge then, I simply dont understand the concept of raising prices over educating people, its the easy way out and is not a fair reflection on society. The vast majorty of people who like a drink or god forbid a can of coke do not become raging alcoholics or obese.

I could buy this and not binge drink. About time we had some personal control and stopped blaming it on others!
great deal, thanks op!

I will stock up and try not to binge drink and have some self control :-)
