I actually married a slow cooker.
And, a lot bigger than that!
Some nights I don't get my meal until around 8pm and I'm often late to the pub and miss a pint or two!

Y-oh-y would a slow cooker marry you?
Bought this before Christmas (for £10) to replace an old Sainsbury's one where the pot had cracked.

Wife particularly wanted a round one rather than oval and this is perfect. Very happy with it so far and probably had our money's worth already

Sadly yes!
Annoying, as I had a chance to say no!

If you have E7 at night, it will be about the night rate of your electricity. If you've not got E7, it's just not worth it. I have lost all my confidence in buy stuff from Asda. A scale with loose contact and the scale digital readings keep failing. A rice cooker which is very slow. A rice cooker from Lidl was much faster - about half of the time needed. And then the layer making the bowl non-stick is basically useless. 2nd time I used it, rice is already sticking to the bottom. Then a flask which burst into thousands of fragments because it overheated with hot water. I ask you... No, Asda is NOT for me!

Another thing is that, the texture of the food cooked in a slow cooker is usually terrible.

You've not heard of the Asda curse, apparently they turned away some gypsies one time and now all their stuff falls to bits immediately by it. I was lucky, I bought a rice cooker the day beforeit happenedand it is working like a champ still.

Well you must have some funny taste buds as slow cooking retains taste, but may be you like the taste of burnt or over cooked food.
Just been in Drakehouse store in Sheffield and still scanning at £14 must be online only

Was £10 in Keighley before Christmas (with no mention of an original price of £14).
