thank you... hopefully my local will have these
Have these actual butter in them or is it palm oil, like how they have destroyed shortbread?

They contain butter can't see any mention of Palm Oil

Ingredients
Wheat Flour, Unsalted Butter (Milk) (26%), Sugar, Maize Starch, Desiccated Coconut, Glucose-Fructose Syrup, Salt, Dextrose, Flavourings, Raising Agents (Ammonium Carbonates, Sodium Carbonates)
That's worth it for the tin alone!
Why can't they use biscuits instead of cookies.

Yes but they also have coconut for some unfathomable reason:

Are they suitable for vegetarians? Can't see the v sign but it's Christmas product which they don't put on sometimes.
Order 3 online last night for delivery this morning ... got substituted for 1 tin of £3 biscuits. Nice one that picker, why couldn’t you give me 3 tins of £3 biscuits!
You know xmas is coming with deals like these

Doesn't actually say, but can't see anything in the ingredients to suggest they are not Suitable for vegetarians

Can't knock them for a £1 , I don't think, just picked up a couple of tins myself and hope to keep them until Christmas. Great designs on the tins also

Yeah I couldn't see anything to suggest otherwise to but just want to make sure incase it's made in a factory that deals with so and so. I'm sure they are. I put a tweet out looks like Asda are slow to respond, probably get a reply after these are off sale i.e after Christmas

Oh I hadn't thought of that, definitely a good idea to check with Asda then.
Unusual it's not on the Web Site or the tins I bought in store today as I've just checked

Yeah they would be made by same company that done the original which is suitable for vegetarians. Heres hoping. Thanks for checking.
There were lots of these in Asda's Bournemouth. I bought 7 tins, great for xmas presents.
