For starter, you can order the soup of the day which is just £1.50 and served with a bread roll.

The main course and dessert are both part of a deal for £5.

For main course, you can have:
Half Roast Chicken with all the trimmings
Steak Pie meal
Carvery meal (roast of the day ie beef or pork etc)
Beef Olives meal

For dessert, there is a few cakes you can choose from:
New York Cheesecake
Triple Chocolate Fudge Cake
Lemon Meringue Pie
Apple Pie
Carrot Cake

Each cafe may have a slightly varied menu from the one I've given, and it is, of course, all subject to availability, but the same deal stands.

is the kids eat free offer finished?

would be the last place id eat

Voted cold as the food usually is!

I'd rather gouge my eyeballs out with a rusty spoon and strangle myself with the stringy bits than have a 3 course meal in any Asda cafe! They can't even cook basics like chips or beans so what hope would a 3 course meal have?

Not voting BTW. It might be a good deal for people who like to spend a lot of money on the worst food going.

53% hot? Really? I mean, really?

Possibly the worst deal I've seen for some time, with the current pub/restaurant chain offers that are on at the moment you could spend less and get something that;

A) wasnt plastic food
B) doesn't involve poor supermarket cafe
C) is better value

Crown carvers are about £5 on a Sunday, granted the experience is very varied, but still a better option than this....

I was in a Joseph Holt pub yesterday at Knutsford with my wife, we managed to get a two course meal for the pair of us for just £13.50, the food was lovely real home cooked stuff and a good selection. The chocolate fudge cake nearly finished us off, and we came out rolling out of this place like many other we saw who'd eaten in there. I know which I'd prefer with so many good eateries around doing deals..

Yea, but you can't go shopping in the pub!

In all seriousness though, I really can't imagine the following conversation -

Wife: Lets go out for lunch today, a nice roast, where do you fancy?
Me : Cracking idea, let's go to Asda!

It just wouldn't happen. Maybe convenient if you're there anyway though.

I have to agree with the above comments. Joey Holt's meals are usually cooked fresh and served piping hot, and very reasonably priced

Never go to anywhere where kids eat free, there is no such thing as free, all the mugs without kids are paying for other peoples kids
