Hi Treboeth. I do check the actual websites as well, as mysupermarket is not always correct. Morrisons deal expired today and Iceland is £3.00 for 350g.
I really like the vintage one but can rarely find it anywhere nor on offer. Have to settle for extra mature.
Could actually shred the whole block and sit there and eat it.

I am the complete opposite. I love mild, buttery cheese. I bought Port Salute 185g yesterday, which is on offer at the moment at Waitrose for £1.50. I could eat the whole wedge, too

£2.50 for 300g till 24 Nov. Hope that helps.
Is this a good price? The 350g block is £2 anyway and has been for a while so other than packaging two of these into one packet, there’s no benefit? The Vintage block is also £2 but only 300g.

Where is the 350g £2 other than Asda right now? Please send a link. Thank you.

It’s at Asda - but you’d expect better value for buying more (a twin pack), that’s why I asked if it’s a good deal or not.

Since nobody else sells it at £2.00 for 350g, then yes, it is a good deal!

Not everyone has a Costco membership card. Anything else?

Asda sells it at £2 for 350g... so you just buy 2 lots of this and save on the extra plastic packaging waste, that was my point.

Asda sells a twin packet for £4. Not a single 350g for £2.00

They sell singles for £2 - that what I have been trying to explain... I was there earlier today, noticed this and wondered why the twin pack isn’t better value.

If they do sell singles, show the link. Just saying it is not good enough.

I’ll take a photo tomorrow if I must. Otherwise I obviously made it up to derail your thread. Seriously I don’t care if ‘saying it isn’t good enough’ for you.

Not really apart from you asked where it was cheaper and I posted a link.
Is that a problem for you?

Apparently anything is a problem if it’s not supportive of this thread... I’m going to Costco tomorrow anyway to get 4 blocks of it for £5.99 as it doesn’t last in this household and that’s the best price I’ve seen - I think if it’s sealed it lasts months anyway.
Was £2 for 350g block at B & M on Friday

It's 3.50 in Tesco
You lot need this bloke

To settle this argument, In Actual fact your all wrong...

1- asda runs promotions like all major companies and this was £1.89 recently (350g)

2- cost Co isn't available to everyone in the UK where a major supermarket has more of a suitable chance for people to have access too.

3 - you lot need too agree too disagree as arguing over cheese when there is much more crap in the world really!

Final thought ...

Ask Jerry Springer .
I'm neither a fan of this cheese or the overly defensive op!

The extra mature cheddar at Iceland is great and always cheaper than this stuff.
I'm lucky my local Asda has the single packs at £1,89
