What exactly is in a cheesecake mix?
Can't think of it being anything more then crushed up digestives and a sauce or flavouring packet.

it says on the front of the box about adding the cheese etc....... trust my hubby to miss that part when he bought 6 boxes!!

You have to add cream cheese to these - and they are the baked style.

Usually also icing sugar, cheese powder and a little flour. You add cream cheese.

You are required to add real cream cheese as well - but usually they include cheese powder. Not sure if it adds any flavour but will help bind the mix, might not make it as heavy as all flour. I think it replaces the egg yolks I would use in a fresh bake.
