8 chocolate mousses from Asda for £1 - 12.5p each. But even better, they are suitable for vegetarians, which is really rare to find with chocolate mousses! Usually contain gelatine. They are delicious!!!

I haven't had chocolate mouse in ages due to the gelatine, awesome find - they better be nice lol
Vegetarians... Cold.
Vegetarians... Hot.
Also available in the 2 packs for £1 offer are the Chosen By You chocolate mousse(40% less fat version),Chosen By You lemon mousse and Chosen By You strawberry mousse.
Really good.
nb: the low fat ones aren't vegetarian... hot as the regular ones are and tasty!
This was not chosen by me.
Do these contain vegetarians?
That's awesome - usually things that are made suitable for vegetarians but normally contain gelatine (e.g. Mousse, sweets, marshmallows, etc) cost a fortune! These are a bargain! Asda here I come!
Shame we dont have a Asda I dont eat mousses because of gelatine
My wifes a vegetarian as most simple minded women are, so for every animal she doesn't eat i eat another one to redress the balance. Also if cooking for her i always use the same cooking implements to ensure the meat juices go into her processed synthetic crap. Got to ensure she gets her vitamins in some way ;-)

What, all 4 of 'em? Greedy sods can have 2 each!
Good for the Muslims too, I love chocolate mousses but our local supermarket (Sainsbury's) doesn't seem to care. I remember one they had their meal deal and there was no veggie option at all ... Ridiculous.
hot. will look out for these
They've been two for £1 for a while now - they alternate a few weeks at 60p each, then a few weeks 2 for a quid, then back to 60p each

I get them for my lunch
If your getting these instore flip them upside down and check theres no water sitting in the bottom. I got these last week and there was some nasty fluid at the bottom oO
asda sometimes sell a cadburys 4 pack for 50p

Hot hot hot! I appreciate it is cheaper to use gelatine (otherwise why else would they use it) but it seems they then reduce the target market!

I think the idea behind the product in the deal is that it is Veg friendly, unlike the Cadbury's one
Banned
So this is halal.

Don't think many vegetarians are strict enough to bother with avoiding gelatine, it's a tasteless odourless substance, it's used in alot of medical treatments too. Beef gelatine I can see why you would avoid it, it does actually have a very strong flavour to it and is used in alot of gummy sweets, makes them taste awful (namely coops cheapo cola bottles).

But yeah, pescetarian my whole life and I've never bothered avoiding it. They've probably just found a cheaper, chemical alternative to gelatine.

A lot more than you clearly think.
It's not being strict to avoid gelatine. It's called being vegetarian. Is it strict to avoid chicken too?
