Just a little heads up because I know these pizzas are popular. My missus went to Asda St. Helens today and was informed at the create your own pizza counter that they are doing 6 toppings for the price of 4 for the rest of the month. That's one meaty pizza! She got a 14" for just £3.20, a saving of £1.60.

My advice go for the stone bake and make sure they put plenty of tomato puree on it and you can't go wrong. They also do a choice of chilli, basil, or garlic drizel on top too.

Are you crazy??? These are the nicest pizzas in the world! Om nom nom nom nom

Love the stone bake pizzas. Hate that they count BBQ sauce as one of your toppings though, although who cares with this deal as you still have 5 more to play with. HOT.

I agree excellent pizza's one of the best, however, even if you get 5 toppings if they are tight then it will look like 2 as i've had before, not sure if your allowed to tell them to put more on and they would?

Heat added!!

No way, Sainsburys make the dough fresh in store every day and handmake the bases , Asda are premade frizbys

Is there any way of getting the oils on the pizza if you are having it delivered?

Really? They are tasteless. The cheese is poor quality as is the tomato sauce used.
But as least they fill you up.

Must be store specific, wasnt the case in ASDA Cardiff at 2.30pm today.

Sainsburys do not make their own bases!they come in frozen, same as asdas.
Asdas pizzas are much nicer and I work for sainsburys!

Asda's Create Your Own are the dogs nuts!

Last week the lady told me the BBQ base now doesn't count towards your toppings.

Friday nights with an Asda Create Your Own and a few bottles of these bad boys!

They do not, seen them make them in front of my eyes , they put em though a machine to flatten the dough then hand shape the bases to correct size , made with fresh dough from the bakery.

its £4.20 just been

Me and the misses go every Friday (Way cheaper than a takeaway and way nicer!)

Sainsburys ingredients are much better quality. fresher.

Plus 3.36 is the standard price at Sainsburys. We cook our own fresh bread and dough the Sainsburys deli pizzas are by far the best out of any of the UK supermarkets. So try be and you will see.

Hot, thanks.....love asda pizza

I can confirm this is true, she does.

Also, my ex-girlfriend's Dad used to go to Asda to get a create-your-own pizza, because he didn't like a particular ingredient that you get with most pizzas..

The tomato sauce base. So he had them made without that! True story.

well they are nice pizzas so .... (_;)

It used to be the case. No longer. Tried BBQ sauce with chili oil, hot chicken, green chili, peppers and onions. The only problem I have is that they put so much ingredients that the pizza becomes soggy.

Pity its so expensive for everything else!

I used to work on the pizza counters at ASDA. The best pizza's are the ones which are scored first, then put garlic butter, a little tomato puree, cheese and then top with your fave ingredients. I used to make these for my vegetarian cousin - she said best pizza she ever tasted - thin crust is the best!

Tasteless and bland.

Before you hate, just my own opinion.

pizza! love this thread!

everyone likes a cheap tasty big pizza

I used to love asda's create your own pizzas but around a year or so ago they stopped using proper chicken/cajan chicken and instead started using the square processed chicken pieces which were vile.

I havent checked for a while but I expect they are still doing the same, ok if you dont like chicken on your pizza tho

mmmm thanks off to asda i go

Add some fresh chillies or tabasco - no longer bland

amazes me why people spend a fortune on dominos and pizza hut when there's deals like this about , it's just there to lazy to bung it in the oven for 15-20mins
The youth of today eh

wow! 2 more toppings.....lets all get excited lol x

A pizza is only as tasteless and bland as the toppings you choose to put on them.

Great pizzas, will be dropping by my local tomorrow for sure.

Sainsburys large pizzas were 2 for £5 last friday when I bought some. Nice load of toppings too

Tried the Asda ones the other week after seeing people in a long line waiting for them to be made to there own topping spec. After trying one boy are them people mugs!!

Very poor pizza with pre-made base?????????, the smallish stuffed crust ones that have been on at £2 recently are the ones to buy from Asda, if not pizza express cheese and tom and build your own at home.
