not sure if they got wrong price, but it has let me order one.
thanks mods for putting the picture in for me.

Can it beam me up, ****?

...trending downwards in price ..was 320£ ..then dropped to 245£ ...now 225£.. all within a space of 4 months .. I'm after one but not just yet as I'm convinced it'll drop some more in price just like the HTC Evo 3D did , which at it's lowest was 199£ . I'll jump in when it breaks the 200£ barrier but not before then!

I agree - I remember when Asda were stocking the LG Prada 3.0 phone. If I recall correctly, that started off at £329(!), then dropped periodically to £249, then £200, then £179, then eventually to £149 when it promptly sold out:

It seems a bit of a trend with Asda and some of the sim free phones they sell, as pointed out by darklight with the HTC Evo 3D.

As for the Galaxy Beam phone, I found a few reviews on the web below:

reviews.cnet.co.uk/mob…05/

techradar.com/rev…iew

t3.com/rev…iew

Looks like a decent, mid-range spec phone with a projector feature (Cool? Gimmicky? You decide!), and it appears to come supplied with two batteries according to the reviews. The ratings from those reviews are a bit middling (3 out of 5 on Tech Radar, 3.5 out of 5 on CNet), although it should be noted that when reviewed the phone was a new release with a price of £400 sim free (or thereabouts). At £225, it makes a bit more sense, although I think given the specs (projector aside) a sub £200 price would tempt me.

don't forget 2% quidco will make it £220.
every little help....

I think for this price you're better off getting a Motorola Razr or Acer Cloud for a little extra. Does anyone really need a projector in their pocket?

Added ACER40 at checkout and it's £229.99.

Awesome device and incredible price. Heat
