Does this have a headphone jack to connect to better speakers?

It does indeed have a jack socket....

looks pretty good. Is this stereo with only having one speaker when playing through headphones are add on speakers?

Full range speakers? There's only 1 of them!

It's a cheap and cheerful radio. Most people who buy it won't care about it being mono, nor the quality of the speaker.

Haven't tried one, but probably does a great job for it's target market, and at this price got to be a great deal.

Got one of these for the kitchen last time round. It's a great wee set and a true bargain.

its all too and well getting dab radio , but you`ve got to wonder if the quality of the speaker would defeat the object....????

For most people no.

I purchased one of these about 2 months ago when I saw it listed here for the same price ???????

Reception is great, it finds a lot of DAB stations, but the mono sound is dire! It sounds like the radio is inside a tin can!

I've got this radio, paid £19.99, its a great deal at this price.
Its really tiny so dont expect high quality sound, but its perfectly adequate for what i bought it for, which is the bathroom. I use Vapextech LSD rechargables in it, 4 X AA, and they last about 20 hours, which means about a month or more use in my bathroom before i have to charge the batteries.
Heat added.

Its loads loads better than the PURE one Mi ive owned both this radio is great value.

I bought one of these the last time it was on HUKD and it's a fantastic little piece of kit! Loads of DAB stations and more-than-adequate volume and sound quality. It's a tiny unit but the buttons are a good size and feel sturdy, the screen is pretty bright and legible, there's a useful headphone/speaker socket and IIRC from a previous thread it runs for ages on batteries. Heat added

These do produce stereo when external speakers are connected to the headphone jack

Good deal, thanks.

Great little radio.
I'm not bothered about the single speaker as the main benefits are the extra stations I receive and that it can be used with batteries in the bathroom. (Also use in the kitchen.)

I preferred this one:
ASDA Model: E80170
Catalogue number: 591-113 which I bought a month ago for £22.00 from ASDA.
It’s £19.36 now.
A good radio and most important my wife loves it !

Bought this before for the kitchen and it's brilliant for the price, am i playing dj sets through it - no, am i doing top spec studio work through it - no, it gives me the stations i need for my area with more than suitable quality, no regrets whatsoever, highly recommended.

It's probably just the mono piped to the two speakers, if you see what I mean. E.g. if a song had a rhythm guitar part in the left channel and a lead part in the right channel, with this radio connected to two speakers, you still hear both guitar parts in each speaker.

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Its true stereo, just listening to 6 music in proper stereo in my earphones , th headphone amp isn't great though and can't really power my sennheiser hd270s but should be fine with normal headphones. just received mine and WOW! I live in a poor reception area yet this thing somehow still picks up all the stations no matter what way the aerial is pointing and even if the aerial is compacted all the way down!I bought mine to mod it into my car as it has a 5v input which happens to be what USB outputs

The FM radio also has RDS plus you can select mono or stereo by pressing the display button then left/right
