I bought two of these last year and sectioned them up, bagged and froze them. They're still as disgusting today as they were a year ago, so they do keep well in the freezer.

nice price but from experience you soon get very bored of the taste and it doesn't freeze well - better to cut in half and give some to a rellie
Once frozen it can be used in pasta, sauces and pizzas, however for me it is no longer suitable to eat on its own, with crackers or smoked salmon.

I do buy it and freeze it as it only seems to be widely available in December

Great, get some puff pastry cut up into sections, fill with this cheese and seal to make ravioli type shapes, sprinkle Parmesan on top and your laughing!

It’s awesome, just use a beaten egg to moisten and then crimp the sides and coat with egg before grating the parmesan on top. Mind make a hole in the top of each one and it’s great!

Made them tonight! Also great with cranberry sauce too and everyone has half a jar of that sitting around just now too!
Smells exactly as my granddad's feet!

Going to give this a go now lol and yeah I've got loads of cranberry sauce left over from Christmas bacon and brie sandwiches
Bought one in Chesser yesterday, same price. Yummy with oatcakes and some now in pot making delicious Stilton and broccoli soup. Rest in grease proof paper in fridge. Long dated so ok to end of month
Blue Cheese enhances so many flavours....add a small amount to stews/casseroles, scramble eggs/omelettes
for an even richer full taste....superb

Had a blue cheese omelette with it this morning was great
Best before dates on Stilton confuse me, I find it actually improves with age so I take no notice, but there again I'm like that with most cheese.

To be honest I'm the same the mrs goes mad, I've had potted Stilton in my fridge 6 months over and still ate it fine, as for hard cheese like parmesan i purchased a quarter wheel from a deli over year and a half ago and still going strong. Same goes for cured meats
They leave it sat on a shelf for months then tell you eat it quickly, what that all about?

£2 in Bilston ASDA yesterday

I'll drive down Bilston save myself 60p. Might cost about 40 odd quid in fuel though 🤔
