Bwahahahaha! Good one! We're waiting for the Christmas veg deals, but this is the best price around at the moment to bridge the gap, as it were.
If anyone prefers Morrisons, or doesn't have an Asda near them, Morrisons are doing 2 x 2.5kg White Potatoes for £2.

Heat for the deal, just used last of current bag of potatoes, will call at Asda tomorrow to get some.

If Morrisons is nearer to you - they're doing 2 x 2.5kgs for £2. We'll buy a few bags of these to tide us over until the Christmas Veg is on offer.

Many thanks for the heads up on Morrisons prices as well, will probably call at both Supermarkets tomorrow as only a couple of miles apart.
So what makes a potato white and another brown?

This isn't a deal as such....they have been this price for ages.

No, they haven't. They're usually around the £1.25 mark, so this IS a deal. Plus, along with Morrisons, they're the cheapest around at 40p/Kg.
Really not about to argue the price of potatoes but in my store they have been for months.

No - they're the same price in all Asda stores and they haven't been this price "for months".
Been this price for weeks tbh.

Apologies, just checked my ASDA orders for the past 3 weeks.

Ordered bag of white potatoes each week for £1.

Exactly the same as these. Bar half a kilo

So, 2kgs for £1, and not 2.5kgs?
MarcusHunt28/10/2019 21:19

Yep. Which is why I apologised. Apologize https://g.co/kgs/8xN35m

Apology accepted! We keep a close eye on potato prices because we love them in our house and eat a ton of them! 😁

Your kids are lucky. All I ever got was an orange stuffed into a sock.
When i was a kid all I got was a pool ball in a sock...
