The Genie Express Vac is the lightweight bagless vac that's perfect for quick clean ups.

It's got plenty of suck, but won't take up too much room in your cupboard, and it's light enough to carry upstairs without breaking a sweat. There's a HEPA filter to help trap dust and pollen that could cause you irritation.

It's really easy to empty too. Just hold the container over your bin, press the button and tada! The dust is gone. Two tools are stored on board the Express Vac - a crevice tool to whisk away dust from corners and a dusting brush for sprucing up your furniture and skirting boards.

Everything you need for a quick clean everyday!

I've had dyson's and vax's in the past and in my opinion this is just as good at a fraction of the price

It may be cheap but good luck in finding replacement filters for them compared to Vax and Dyson

1400W is input.
Suction power is measured in Airwatts.
Eg Some Panasonic models with 1500W input have an amazing 350 Airwatts suction.
Most Dyson have less than this.
Some brands have manage half of Panasonic.

Look at airwatts for suction power.

As for filters... @ £35... if the cleaner it lasts 2 years, throw it away!
I know it's late in the thread but thanks for the heads up, but after 10 years excellent service our Samsung vac has just died!
I couldn't afford anything expensive, so at £35 this was an ideal replacement, especially as it's also lightweight, and we only have 1 bedroom and the stairs carpeted now anyway. As for filters, when they do need replacing, I'm sure I can probably modify another brand to fit, or get one from Unifit.I found my Samsung used Panasonic vac drive belts, so some parts are quite generic.

Just incase anyone's still interested, this is a really good vacuum cleaner for the money, I was very surprised at how well made it is, and how well it cleans, much better than the Samsung QuietJet we had.
It has a much better power cord length than most at this sort of price, so easily copes with the stairs from just one socket, which is also made easier by the fact that it's lightweight, about 6kg, and it's overall size is smaller.
Overall I'm very pleased with it, and if I could find any fault it would be the lack of foot pedal release, you simply click this back, which I'm sure over time will become less effective at keeping the cleaner clicked upright when stored. That said it's only £35, so that's just being critical.
im trying to buy the container for my genie hoover but having difficulty finding one
