I suggest removing the post if you've ordered else loads of people will … I suggest removing the post if you've ordered else loads of people will put stupidly big orders in then everyone's will get cancelled because they's noticed. Always happens

nicster - did you order the other week with £75 off - thoroughly enjoyed the hassle - won in the end

havent ordered any though - not a lover of champagne

argue the point - go down to the store -

whats the other site called?

Me thinks they have cottoned on :-(

carefull guys. website says you will be charged whatever the price is on day of delivery, not neccesarily what u see on the website!

worth a punt, worst that can happen is I turn the order away

i guess though they take payment before delivery so if they do take the full 25 quid a bottle people need to be sure it wont affect them on their available balance on account between them taking the money and refunding as 12 bottles of this at 25 quid a pop is 300 quid

oh yes they do /did , i got £96 worth of shopping delivered for £4.36 a few weeks back ! and so did a lot of others

Hope it works, i just got 6 bottles of the lovely stuff

just ordered delivery monday just wait and see christmas has come early

What was that other offer for 75 off. Must have missed it, just curious

Anybody know if this is any good? Got my wedding coming up so this would be ideal

I was dubious about the dubois, but it's there online.

Anyone know what price it goes through the till instore?

ASDA called to say they have run out and offered a similar bottle but at normal prices. Thought it was too good to be true. Anyway, order cancelled so nothing gained but also nothing lost.

Thank you very much Holly100.
This works instore!!
On shelf at full price but goes through the till at £4.97.

Works. Got six bottles in my local asda. Thanks op

Called at my local Asda (Morley) @ aprox 12:30 today. None on shelves, just empty space. Numerous reasons
a, they go thru till @ glitch price & they have all been snapped up.
b, they have all been taken for online orders due to the glitch or
c, they have been taken off shelves until glitch is fixed.

i was just doing Asda online shopping.., it still shows at £4.91 but if i order once they Realise will they charge me full????

i just got the last 6 bottles at the linwood store. grand total of under £30 for the lot, bargain. these scanned at £4.97 each.

they WILL charge you the price when they eventually pick your order - if it stays the same, you're fine, but if they correct it you will be charged @ 24.97.
Ordered a few of the red an white wines a few weeks back - delivered and charged FULL price, which was about 5 times the price on screen when I completed my order.
The small print says they can do this - and they did

u should have refused it at the door. worth a try with this offer, as it will scan at the current £4.97 when they pick it from the shelfs. as long as they dont realise first thing in the morning.

this post should have been red hot by now, alot of people would have missed it due to it being posted last night, and the deal, instore, not being confirmed until this morning.

i had a delivery between 11am and 1pm today and i just went to check my order (just incase) and it came up saying i needed to complete checkout and complete the delivery time (i thought id already dont that), and i put a new time and then it said they didnt have it available, so i logged out and logged back in and it had a delivery time of 8pm-10pm tomorrow and showing as available.

god knows whats gonna happen now.

its not showing on the website now

i think the only winners in this are the people who went to asda stores yesterday and scanned them through the self service tills.

yes i had a delivery date for now (between 11-1) they called just after 9am to say there was none left. or asda are just hiding them or staff snapped them up.

welldone to everyone you went in store to get these.

on to the next deal

Read through the comments (there was one that said it was showing at full price on the shelf in-store, but went through till at reduced price). I've been to my local Asda superstore and it is showing on the shelf as being reduced from £24.something down to £4.97, so I don't think this is a 'glitch', just a genuine offer. Everyone who is ordering on-line can stop panicking.

Just bought a bottle instore and indeed £4.97, woohoo! Thanks OP

Received my food order tonight, no champagne though, it said it wasnt available :-(

this is the first order ive ever done with asda, wont be doing it ever again.

i booked and had an email through to say they would deliver yesterday between 11-1pm, so stayed in, and nothing.

i then logged onto the website and it said i needed to complete a booking slot, so i did it again yesterday and booked 8-10pm tonight.

so ive just logged into the site to check the status of the order and it says AGAIN my booking time has ran out and i need to book another slot, but also, the price has gone from £33 for 6 bottles to showing as £145 in my shopping trolley for 6.

they can just whistle now, there online shopping system seems very flawed, i'll stick with sainsburys

would,nt let me have it for price advertised when ordered with goods sent 3 bottles of wine as substitute (returned) also gave me £5 e voucher for next shop to compensate

well i had a delivery of 6 bottles of ASTI, which isnt champagne by a long shot, i accepted the delivery and have spoken my local store, they were very friendly, i'll give them that, and the manager is phoning me tomorrow, they was going to substitute with a sparkling wine which im not accepting and there cheapest champagne was £15, i asked them to substitue it for that and they couldnt authorise it. guess i'll have to wait for the manager to phone tomorrow and see what he has to say.

fingers crossed still lol

Customer Services told me that champagne was out of stock in whole country which was a complete lie as others had already purchased instore AFTER they told me this. It has now miraculously appeared on the webiste again but price is now showing £14.00.

oooh £14 a bottle now, that'll make it a bit easier when i ask for substitutions from the bottles of asti they sent me, thanks for mentioning this carandy.

Very Happy here :o)

I had 6 bottles of asti delivered at home as a substitute, i accepted the order (thinking it would be better to go down to the store to discuss it).

Got promised a called at 8am, no call, so phoned the store at 9.30am and they told me to go down to the store (only down the road), and a very friendly member of staff took me down to the booze aisle and picked out 6 bottles of vintage champagne at £20 a bottle as substitute for the Dobois Caron, the Dobois Caron is now shelf priced at £14 a bottle.

Ive been very happy with the way asda staff have been with me throughout this, no horribleness at all, and now im sorted at Christmas for presents and a few parties.

THANK YOU OP xxxx
