I think were the one pictured in this deal is lime with silver, the other one is silver with black. Although if it is white, that's fine by me, for the price

Thanks heat added

Oh I caught a flamedeer here

Got 1 yesterday for the kitchen and its pretty rubbish, sound is very tinny on it so taking it back later today i think.

We bought one a few weeks ago, it's great

That explains how ASDA can sell a DAB radio so cheaply.

Too good to be true??

Hi, this was posted on here about 2 weeks ago.

Remember "Polaroid" = cheap **** made for ASDA/Wal-mart - they licensed the brand when the camera company went bust and stick it on very low end chinese electronics. Hence "bargain" tellies etc.

looks good for the price, shame the green one is oos!

Good price. Thanks.

If your expecting great sound quality then you need to spend more than £19!

Nice idea for a prezzie, thanks OP

Agreed - even the look of the radio shouts "kitchen", which would immediately have me assuming (correctly it seems) that it is a basic DAB radio with sound quality sufficient for there rather than for proper quality sound. Price and quality fit for purpose, so hot.

Any idea what chip is in these? I'm tempted to buy one for the study on the chance/hope I can then rip it apart in a few months time and drive it from a Raspberry PI....

Bought the last one in Asda Woodchurch, Wirral on Saturday evening and listening to BFBS on it now in the office!

It sounds like a fairly cheap transistor radio, but in a nice way - the sound is pleasant but not powerful. If you're looking for something to have on in the background that looks good and is a doddle to use, it's perfect.

I'm very pleased with mine!

Why are these things Mono! We had better tech in the 80's

Good price for DAB. Tempted but would have to be silver, that green is hidious!

Bought a Polaroid radio from Asda last year and pretty impressed. Can't go wrong at this price!

nice!!

Got one in green last week. Ok sound. Good for the kitchen which is what I wanted. For those that complain about sound quatily what do you expect for the price? A Bose sound system? Besides if it's just in the kitchen or study or garden you don't need bass sub woofer cinematic sound as it's not the primary focus of what you're probably doing! Like green is actually nice, goes well in a white or black kitchen where you need a key accent colour.

nice price for good little radio

I bought Polaroid DAB from ASDA in a similar previous deal. You are precisely correct.
Anyone who needs BOSE quality sound will need to bypass the integrated speakers which are £20.00 crap.

Heat for this deal.....just picked up a white one from my local Asda!

Sold out online and instore but I was lucky enough to be there when the delivery was being worked in the Runcorn store. They only received 4 (2 of each colour). Good item for the price, perfect for the kitchen!:D

These are good I have 1.
