Cold.

absolutely crap.

Not crap - it the only curry sauce I buy

This is its usual price. I think all the major supermarkets do a basics curry sauce for between 4p to 8p.

It's usually 6 p it's on roll back lol so it's a good price and actually an absolutley cracking curry sauce exactly same as chippy curry sauce got some mon and slopped it over my chips gorgeous !! Highly recomended

How hot is this?

Voted hot as its a jar of curry for 5p

308 calories, 4.4g of salt, 16g of fat, 29g of sugar

You had it on your chips on Monday - what did you do on Tuesday, recover from your heart attack?!

Yawn......................well it is getting late.

It's more sweet than hot. As already mentioned, better for chips (or noodles) than an actual curry

one fatty meal every now and then isn't bad.

unless your a 'whey protein' person chips are fine occasionally.

Yeh looks like this has come down by 1p! Bargain! =P

I am shocked at anyone calling this crap for 5p. As others have mentioned, perfect for things like chips or noodles. Tastes a lot better than you'd think!

Has always been 5p at my Asda so no deal there.

This 'deal' i use the term loosely as it is the usual price, has been posted on here i think every week for months!!

Totally agree. I'm the last person to start preaching to others, but the problem is that for families on a tight budget, this crap becomes part of a staple diet - it doesn't take long for a product that contains nearly 5 times the recommended daily salt intake for an adult male (amongst other things) to start having a severe affect on health, particularly the health of children. Have you seen the stats for child obesity and heart disease?

The salt and sugar in this and many other products are used purely as cheap bulking agents. Supermarkets need to take more responsibility for the products they sell, particularly with the cheaper ranges that many families have no choice in.

was I being harsh by saying it was absolutely crap ?

IMHO, no, as to me, it was crap.

As it is a curry sauce, I made a curry with it, and compared to what I normally have it was crap.
Would putting it over chips/noodles enhance the flavour? I doubt it , each to there own though,
if you like it fine, I for one don't
