Asda Loaded Cookie Dough - £1 instore

Just got back from Asda and saw they had Asda Loaded Cookie Dough Ice Cream on sale for £1, not tried it yet though. Was actually looking for the £1 ben and jerrys but couldn't see it in my store. Still this looks a good deal to me.

tbh its not that good, I picked up 2 yesterday and opened one last night, but youre lucky if there is 10 pieces of "cookie dough". however the ice cream itself is quite like mr whippy ice cream.

480ml

I just had some, I agree it isn't that good. Not much cookie dough (6.2%) but the ice cream is nice enough and is like Mr Whippy a bit! Has chocolate sauce in it too (15%), it says the ice cream is vanilla but it isn't white, its sort of a toffee colour/taste.

Probably worth a quid though. But I had Ben and Jerrys Choc fudge brownie (£2.50 asda) and it was heavenly!
I got one of these to try as well - for a £1 its worth a try!
This is a## compared to B&J. Even at £1 its over priced.
Yea, dont expect Ben Jerries quality. Theres probably nicer out there for that price.
Never thought I'd see the day when the kids would agree to us throwing out a tub of ice cream rather than eating it, but that was what happened when I bought a couple of tubs of the Asda Loaded "Millionaire" for £1 last summer. Nasty. Haven't tried this flavour, so I'll concede it might be really nice - but it's not a gamble I'm willing to take, even at this price.

Don't expect quality full stop. I'm all for buying cheap stuff, but not at the expense of a little taste...
Mmm, love that L-cysteine used in cookie dough.
Just wonder if Asda use Human hair, or Duck feather variety...
I picked some up last week, its woeful, tastes like dream topping (if anyone remembers that stuff!) and the "fully loaded" is a joke, theres a teaspoon full of chocolate pieces and cookie dough at best
It's £1 for a reason, it's not great.
I'd pay the extra £1.22-1.50 for B&Js at the moment,

I'm pretty sure they like the cannibalised variety...
This stuff is vile
Can confirm this isn't great but ok in an emergency. It stops us going down the co-op and paying £4 for the real thing.
Tesco have banofee pie and tutty fruity flavour ice creams and they are awesome and this is from a Haagen Das strawberry cheese cake lover.
Both my husband and myself find it tasty, tasty, very very tasty.
this stuff is no where as good as the benjiman and jeremiahs version.

That's because Ben and Jerry are probably the best fudge-packers in the business

Why not just have a spare tub of B&J for emergencies?

In an emergency? Such as when you crave ice cream so badly it's either that or death.
