I'm NOT a vegetarian but have been trying a few of the cheaper own brand in Asda. So far so good but don't see why I shouldn't make my own meatballs so here goes tonight.

Does it taste like the quorn one

I doubt it. Completely different type of food (Mycoprotein vs Soya Protein).

No, unfortunately not. I use Quorn regularly and tried this once instead, hoping it would be just as good, but it really wasn't great! There were a lot of leftovers that night for some reason oO

Hi all had a go at making the meatballs and some sausage patties.

Not the greatest success I've ever had in the kitchen but all in all NOT too bad. NOT overly impressed with quality of the mince but it was edible. I don't think it was really worth a £1 per pound but then meat Isn’t either.
