Noticed yesterday that the Cadburys multi-pack of 4 bars are now only 92p - so things like Flake, Double Decker, Crunchie, Wispas

Heinz beans and sausages 50p

Why is spaghetti and sausages never 50p!

Nothing really amazing here, i shop at Morrisons and all these are regularly on offer for similar prices. Plus you get price match anyway. Stick with Morrisons thanks

Have been told by someone in the know it's "because Asda recently fell behind not just Aldi but also Lidl."

My fave: 6pt milk £1.30.

Is this the usual ASDA rollback where they tell you it's cheaper but when you get home you find it was actually dearer?

Wiggy they are, along with bolognese and ravioli
groceries.asda.com/asd…ock

4 cans of heinz spaghetti and beans have been rolled back to £1.87 now

Well that makes a change they usually dont do. Ill stock up then:)

Nescafe 3 in 1 5 sachets 50p

Lots of cleaning products 90p , i got some mr sheen, colour catcher and white colour restorer for 90p each. Mr muscle products also 90p

Reductions are always good, but its some coincidence its in January and mainly unhealthy stuff. People trying to quit the junk. No coincidence Burger King/McDonald's bring out vouchers/promos/ltd editions in January too!

You can get 40p back from shopitize for the Heinz beans - making them £1.47!

8 dairylee triangles are 50p

There was also a lot of items reduced to 98p when I went yesterday

Some prices go down with great advertising (thanks Biggins) while other sneakily go up with no advertising of course. And my point is? That's life.

I don't know if he was referring to something more recent but to quote from the August Grocer 33's survey:
