FAQ

1. Where do I go to collect my shopping?

Your groceries will be picked, packed and waiting for you at the Click & Collect Collection Point in the car park at your Asda. Just drive up and park your car in one of the allocated spaces.

2. What do I need to bring with me?

You'll need to make sure you've got your order confirmation (which you can print once your online order has been completed). Alternatively, you can show your order confirmation via your mobile phone. You must be over the age of 18 to receive your grocery order so please remember to bring along photographic ID if you look under the age of 25. You will also need to show the credit/debit card you used to place the order upon collection.

3. What if I can't pick up my shopping? Can someone collect it on my behalf?

Yes, they can. They'll just need to bring the order confirmation with them.

4. What happens if I'm late?

If you think you're going to be late, please give us a ring on 0800 952 60 60 to let us know. If for any reason you aren't able to ring, check at the Click & Collect Collection Point whether your groceries are still there. If not, please go to the Customer Service Desk in-store and inform them that you have arrived to collect your grocery order.

5. What happens if I'm early?

Your groceries may already be waiting for you, so make sure you check at the Collection Point first. If not then you will need to wait until your allocated slot.

6. What happens if I've ordered something that isn't available?

When you make your grocery order, you will be given the option to decide whether you're happy to receive substitutions or not. If you are, you'll be offered a substitute product. If not, then we will not include the item in your shopping. We will make you aware of any substitutions or missing items when we give you your shopping.

7. What if I don't like the substitution that you have provided?

We will do our best to replace the unwanted substitution with a more suitable replacement or alternatively we're happy to offer you a refund for that item.

Killingbeck - We have done everything we can to make sure you have the best possible substitute. If you are not happy with the substitute we will offer you an instant refund.

8. Do I have to collect my order in a car?

No, you can collect it by foot or in another vehicle but please bear in mind that there is a height restriction of 2.8 metres within the Collection Point.

Roehampton the height restriction is 2.43 metres.
Killingbeck has no height restriction.

9. Do I need to get out of my car to collect my groceries?

No, simply drive to the Collection Point during your time slot and we will put your order in the car for you!

10. Can I cancel my Click & Collect order?

Yes - you can view, amend or cancel your grocery order any time up to 10pm the day before your collection slot. Do this by visiting ASDA.com or calling us on 0800 952 60 60.

11. When does the free Pick & Pack service end?

The free pick and pack service ends 31st December. After this date service will be £1.50.

Would appreciate feedback on the cold votes? Surely this should be hot?

Fantastic idea. Good find. I'll vote hot even if others think it's cold.

True but at least you'd be there you could reject it and easily nip and swap it for something else. Saves having to fight past people in the aisles

Cheaper than Tesco "Click & Collect".

Yep, i hate having to do the same, hence thinking this is a great idea....13 people have voted hot so god knows how many have voted cold dont understand why

Great idea, unfortunately not available in the Province with the exception of Portadown for some reason!

So by that logic if everyone did this then there will just be a big que for click and collect. Plus half of your order will be random stuff. (_;)

Assuming Asda would be clever enough to limit some of the slots lol

They wouldn't probably do it on purpose, once they get you inside you'll end up shopping anyway.

Well worth a try !! Im a big fan of Asda home shopping and use it weekly, apart from a few unavailables cant fault them,

We got TCB to track on a first order with Tesco groceries and used click and collect so I'd assume this is pretty much the same.
Might have to give this a go

No collection slots in my area, would have saved a huge hastle with me working all over christmas

Is this a new concept to some?
It's the same as Tesco Click n Collect except ASDA are (currently) offering it for free! I'm a Tesco shopper and have my items delivery, but they did me out of my priority Xmas Slot this year as I did not sign up to their Delivery Saver whatsit and those people took all the slots.
ASDA are now getting my custom for our Xmas shop using this service, I reserved my slot last weekend - and yes, you don't just turn up whenever you like, you get a 2hr time slot to go collect so obviously only so many people are allowed within that slot.

Not really sure this is a deal though!
