Asda Online Shopping Glitch

Assuming that you know what the APG system is by now... (or look at a previous post of mine).

Buy your shopping online for a home delivery or a Click and Collect. Once you have your shopping, put your details into the APG system.

They have recently updated their APG site. You can access both sites still and compare on both sites (both the same link).

I did a £250 shop and got £1.30 on the old site and £88.42 on the new site.

Another shop I did a while back, I got £60 on both (£100 cap so only £100 in total).

I posted it on MSE but they think ripping off asda with glitch vouchers are ok but online glitches is not ok. They are hypocrites and will no doubt vote this cold.

Remember, you need 8 items in total. Compare your shopping @ mysupermarket.co.uk before you shop to get the best comparison.

As you can see below, my computer shows the old site and my phone shows the new. Same wifi network too. Must be device/browser specific.

How is that a glitch ? All you have to do is research what you're buying. It's quite simple to do a £100 shop and get a £50 voucher , just by getting stuff that is half price elsewhere.

The glitch is getting double the vouchers you are meant to.

EG:

bread £1 in Asda 50p in tesco.
£0.55 voucher on each site meaning a total of £1.10 in vouchers. 10p profit.

The old site didn't compare correctly this time.

I ended up on this particular shop with an extra £1.30. My previous shop, an extra £40.

How do you access each site? Can you post links? I only seem able to compare on asdapriceguarantee.co.uk

How do you know if your on the old or the new site?

asdapriceguarantee.co.uk is the link.

They look very different.

I'll post a screenshot of the old site later. I'm not at home.

How would that work though? As I thought you had to print your voucher off and present it with your receipt.

Well the glitch on the new site is obviously products which are not … Well the glitch on the new site is obviously products which are not stocked in other stores, take the Beef mince, £14 at Adsa, N/A at Tesco, this is hence adding £14 to the price gurantee. Therefore, it would appear if you purchased several items which are not present in other stores, and use this new site, you may get a lot of free shopping (before they fix this!)

Lol. If it's n/a at tesco you get nothing on the apg.

correct.
ignore what I ordered, this isn't the glitch I'm posting (the toothbrush one has been fixed, I was unable to post it at the time). lol

The two versions of the site are giving you two ammounts of APG vouchers. Even if you were only meant to get £10, submit on both sites and you'll get £20.

That's an oxymoron,Asda make a fortune from this country by offering 16 hour contracts at minimum wage to allow many of there staff to claim housing benefit and income support. This is paid for by tax payers.

No offence to Asda staff, the system is designed that way.

yh so true..people crying about ripping off ASDA, how many people do they rip off with their prices? People need to realise these are MULTI NATIONAL CORPORATIONS..ASDA is Walmart..they make billions if not trillions probably...the owner of ASDA is probably being fapped.. laughing at us now in his island..

All MNCs are the same..its all about big money..the threat of entrants to their market and substitute products means that the framework of their industry has always meant Walmart/ASDA have shutdown any little store business locally and monopolised wherever they could. They make enough money! If it was a UK only business i'd act differently as this kind of thing could kill their economic infrastructure but as its ASDA who don't even implement a loyalty card scheme then pfftt..let em get frauded!
