I wouldn't advise anyone to move to Delight, they're part of vectone and I've not been able to receive incoming calls on my number since porting to them at the end of December ... that's over 3 weeks! Every day they promise it will "definitely" be fixed.

Shocking.

can the data be used abroad?

going away in feb and need some cheap/free data

ordered ,cheers .
Most of these free deals are for UK use only . ie wont work abroad .

You can cut a standard sim into micro or nano, I've done it a few times

Hopefully, this wont be as much as a pain in the **** as the Sainsbury free bundle offer last year.

if you don't activate Sim is put in phone will the bundle still be valid several weeks/months down the line as & when you need it? Any1 know? Ta

I don't know this for sure but a similar thing happened when TPO were offering free bundle to exisiting customers and you emailed them and they sent you a top up voucher code and I got a few codes from different sims and used them all to keep topping up one sim and it worked a treat. So I'd be willing to bet if you get a few sims and request the codes then you'd be able to load them all onto one sim and have a few months free on one sim because these are top up voucher codes you're being sent so they can be used on any ASDA Mobile sim.

Thanks for ordering your new Asda Mobile SIM pack,

after 3 years of fighting with Orange I got a cheque for wait for it £10'00 good will gesture once you order a sim you start to pay even if it's never been opened and put in phone. I got 2 at what I thought was a brilliant £8 per month half price but only ever used one.still me didn't check my bank statements close enough so for 21 months I had been paying for 2 sims. cheque has been framed. will never get rest of money as it's all on the small print my fault. I'm sure asda customer service are better

This deal is not for a contract, I don't want to change over to EE as my phone is unlocked. Luckily I don't need to phone them.

Can you use this for data in an iPad?

I have tried them all, I have an Asda PAYG in one phone, rarely used, dosen't run out but 10p a call plus connection charge, but it does roll over, so I also have "3" PAYG and so far, this is the very best and it rolls over for ever, very cheap at 3p a min, seems good coverage now, my EE PAYG is very expensive but also rolls over, Vodaphone is also expensive but poor coverage and unreliable, rolls over though. I have just joined TalkTalk broadband and they have given me a free PAYG sim with 100 free mins and some data free, can't beat that if you are thinking of changing BB and are a low user. I threw my ORANGE PAYG card away, just rip off after rip off, just don't go there. So boiling it all down, THREE is the best so far and seem nice people to deal with, can't beat 3p - 2p data- 1p text and never runs out. Well pleased so far. Hope this info helps, Cheers, Dave.

I got a free vectone sim about a year ago - same problem could not call it - transpires it not recognised as a standard UK mobile operator despite being 07x and the calls make to their numbers are charged at a higher rate by other networks and landlines. In fact by default the number was barred by Virgin!

when mine arrived i only got 15min of talk and 20 texts ...rubbish

I know it's not for a contract - it's pay as you go. The network Asda mobile now uses is EE.

The problem I had was that when asda moved from their old network provider which was Vodaphone to the new network "EE". They totally messed up a lot during the switch over and left many customers with no working phone network. I Tried to phone them many times, but they would not answer the phones. It took me days worth of trying before they actually answered the phone then I was kept on hold for an eternity. The guy that I spoke with was not really concerned, and told me it was an error they knew about and they would need to get in touch With EE to register my number on their network. He said it was showing my number was active on his computer, but it was not actually active with EE. He could not tell me how long it would take to sort out. I had not had a working phone now for around two weeks and I could not have a pac code to move way as my number was not registered with any network because they screwed up when everyone was forced to make the change or leave the old provider. That is what I mean by poor service

Can you have 2 at same address?
