This is bloody awful stuff. My brother and I had one each when we were little, took them to bed and woke to find the stuff had melted all over our beds and PJ's! Suffice to say they were ruined and ended up costing our parents a lot more to replace the damaged stuff lol. The stuff also ends up on the floor etc. Not the tidiest of stuff.

My kids won't be having these that's for sure.

Agree 100% but i have to vote hot for the price if anybody likes this stuff
My son had some for his birthday. Two days later I found it under the dining table with two brand new school shirts stuck to it. Grrr. They've all been thrown away now...
Ideal gift for the kids of parents you dislike by the look of it
Seems to like white stuff as well.
My son managed to sit on this and it was stuck all over the sofa and his school top.
Absolutely horrendous stuff, you can't even scrape it off.

But...WD-40 came to my rescue. Get as much off as you can and then spray the goo with the WD-40.Leave a couple of minutes and then rub and scrape it off. You may need several sprays of the magic stuff but it will gradually disolve the goo and allow you to get it all off.
Give items a couple of good washes on their own and you,re good to go.

That's magic.
Oh dear. Just got 2 tins of this in Sainsburys for £3.30 each, reduced from a fiver.
Going back now and I won't be going to Asda to replace.
Oops, I've already wrapped some of this up for my nephews! Given heat tho' as mine cost me £3 odd.
great present for bored office worker not for kids lol i've got some in my work draw and its great for stress relief and to kill a few min here and there :-)
HOT. Was 3 for £5 in Boots last time I bought these.
Seen this for half price, around £2.50 I think in Sainsbury's today. Much better price so have some heat. Though I'm sure there are parents that recoil in horror whenever they see this stuff as it most likely ruined their new carpet.

Damn, I bought a few of these at £2 from asda!

Been sat playing with it all day at work, amazing stuff!
my dog loves to chew this
£2 in my asda tonight
just bought one today and it cost me £2 oO
Got to agree with others if this is the same as what is in Gross Magic, you don't want it on clothes or carpet or anywhere except the tin. Once it's dried on it's almost unremovable.

Not the same. This stuff doesn't dry. It's the same as the original Silly Putty.

Sad to see this stuff getting such bad reviews. I had a huge blob of Silly Putty growing up which was amazing fun.

Leave it on fabrics for more than a few minutes and it will sink in, but its not slimy or wet - it has a malleable, rubbery texture - and as long as its put away and stored safely, and used under supervision for very young kids, it's a great toy.
I love silly putty!!! Haven't played with it in 15 years or so but if u left it on ur clothes or whatever u can stick it in the freezer and scrape it off after half hour or so

The same thing happened to me but with one of those alien baby eggs. Got it on the the bed and in the carpet, never came out!
Thanks just bought 10 for my sisters kids
This stuff is great for getting styli on turntables clean.

Word of warning tho' be very careful and I have only tried the original Silly putty stuff.
£2 in my local Asda
