ASDA SPEND £40+ AND GET £40 IN VOUCHERS BACK FROM TOMORROW 25TH

ASDA SPEND £40+ AND GET £40 IN VOUCHERS BACK FROM TOMORROW 25TH

Got this information today from a reliable source, and have also just found this info on-line.

From what i've been told the offer starts tomorrow (watch out for the Ads starting tonight no doubt) and runs right up until Xmas.

No idea how they can do this, but I guess with the great Supermarket wars they are prepared to pull out all the stops.
I am usually a Tesco shopper, but guess where i'm off tomorrow to do my Grocery shop........

p.s. unsure if this will be on-line too, but my understanding is that it covers all stores.

ASDA £40 Voucher spend

With a bit of sensible thinking each week by splitting your trolley, this could work out a very good deal.
Edited by: "Haylhoo" 24th Oct 2010

Will the £40 in vouchers be to spend on anything or will the voucher be for specific things? Also it could be like £5 off another £40 shop etc.

Posted earlier this week by an Asda worker, they went in to detail on how it will work.

I bet they are vouchers worth up to £40
Like £5 off £30 spend on electricals,
£2 off cleaning products and so on!
Maybe not, still worth a look tomorrow

Can't really vote on this yet until i see what the vouchers are. T & C's etc

The staff have been told that it's just £40 voucher when you spend £40+ no details of only being for specifics.
Even if it is £40 off a spend, still fab.

Can I have the link please to that post earlier this week?

Thats exactly what I thought, it cannot be that simple.

Anyone know of any truth/

i bet it say 50p of something then £1 off something ese and stuff no one buys lol

I heard it's a book of vouchers of money off, not a £40 credit.

hot

HOT.

WILL FIND OUT TOMORROW.

Smoking hot, sounds too good to be true

hubby works in asda and was told about this at work meeting. It is a book of vouchers as people above have said. He has been told that some vouchers will be money off shop eg: £5 off when you spend so much, etc and others will be money off certain items - household products, etc. hth

From tomorrow, if you spend £40 (not including Kiosk, petrol, pharmacy I think), you get £40 back in vouchers that can be used from the 1st of November.

They are item specific vouchers, ie £1 off Bold etc, and will only work on the till if you have purchased the item, as goes through as a multisave.

From memory, there are 4 different books, first one being green, that lasts for 2 weeks, then every week after that another book, that lasts for 2 weeks, until the last book, that is valid for 1 week.

The offers are quite good, I did browse through a book instore yesterday (I work for Asda), but do not remember specifics.

HTH

Cheers, will have to go shop tommororw!

holding back vote until there further info.

Thanks Chalkysoil, great links, adding some heat then im off to cancel Tesco, and changing to asda!, cant go myself this week with the kids off, but i can when the vouchers can be used, so many thanks!

Isn't this just the same as what Tesco do, but without needing to spend to get the vouchers?

I dont seem to get offer like this, occasionally, yes but mine tend not to be relevent i did get a £9.00 off the finish dishwasher dispenser starter kit the other week and i had 99p to pay, but its not very good!. I will use most of the above vouchers, depending upon original price, because they will knock it right up i expect.

like to see how this turns out

mumbojumbo

I assume that code isn't unique to your booklet? I've got a £98 delivery ordered for Friday. I'll have to just have to update it and spend another £2...;-)

I just phoned asda because I thought there must be a catch, There kind of is : you buy £40 worth of shopping and get given a booklet containing £40 worth of vouchers only to be used against certain products instore, So you cant get food shopping with your vouchers.

The vouchers also expire within two weeks and also the vouchers given out change every two weeks...........

Did you really think you were going to get a normal £40 gift voucher to spend on anything?
Edited by: "konkywonky" 26th Oct 2010

great deal- thanks

i got this booklet @Southport yesterday, vouchers are money off certain products and can only be used from
nov 1st-14th
Edited by: "oreet" 26th Oct 2010

dammit you just beat me by a min on this

the vouchers now are for 1st to 14th nov and the new book starts going out from the 8th nov then theyre used from 15th to 28th and book three goes out from 22nd somethiing like that they sort of overlap theres 4 books in total

This doesn't sound that great a deal. You end up having to buy the products they want to sell.

Flowers catfood and champagne...perfect ingredients for a romantic meal with Catwoman!

things will be near full price till end of nov then..
tesco here we come..

Spent £40 and got this booklet today. Pretty sure there was a pile on the side and I could have just picked one up anyway! Dont think the staff really know or care lol

Not really that hot a deal tbh!

Don't rate this deal, looking at the vouchers there is very few,if any,of the vouchers, that I would "normally" use.I am not in the habbit of buying something just because i have a voucher for it.
Think I will stick to morrisons,I am sure they will have their offer where if you do your weekly shop for a few weeks leading up to xmas, you will get a decent voucher to spend on whatever you like.
