It's currently showing as the sixth one down for me.

If you do show tools (to the right above voucher finder), what options do you have set ?

Mine shows 'View Options: Text only Exclude Expired Show Online Deals Only'

i.e It's set to the opposite of those

nice find-grab em while they are available cos this is a serious error by the store-lotsa deleted lines in asda go to 2 pence on the system every day but this actually means they should be thrown in the compactor and scrapped-they are not meant to sell them for that price-lol!

staff have argued with management for years about this to no avail-last week I threw 207 cross cut shredders in the bin! its totally outrageous and a waste imho but these are more stupid asda rules-a price reduction to 2 pence is code for "bin it"-nice to see that the customers are getting a chance at them tho.

Will this be in all stores or just this one though?

Just one, like all the other ridiculously cheap supermarket deals - it's just one store clearing stock out.

I wish people wouldn't vote on them.

For real? What a ******** waste!! They could have been given to a charity for the elderly or something.

Hope you kept some for yourself and your friends! lol

I brought loads of extra gum @ 2p from asda so that means it was rotten? Barky

I agree, it's criminal! Perhaps with out of date perishable things you could understand, but I think other supermarkets do this as well, perfectly good items are put in the compactor.

Some places are passing in-date food to the needy, but as well as the waste/landfill argument, this will probably be a more expensive option than giving the stuff away.

No doubt the company 'powers that be' will claim that it would 'undermining their profitability', and these days the iniquitous 'health and safety' would somehow be quoted, but if they knew it was happening, ordinary folk (and hopefully shareholders?) would just see this as wrong.

surely asda could bung them at the front of the store with a yellow whoops sticker on for a couple of quid n they would be snapped up, anything with the infamous whoops sticker on is always grabbed in our store, surely asda would rather have £414, and people through the doors/good rep from customer. than pay to have them taken away? lunacy

Wow, 99% off! Now that's a discount to shout about.

not rotten-you misunderstand the point I made-when a system change indicates a price of 2p it means "throw it away"-not because there is anything wrong with it at all, just because asda dont want to let the public or their staff have it at that price.

the stuff they crush is legendary-cds and dvds by the thousands, expensive perfumes and toiletries,cameras,toys-anything there is no longer room for because of new lines being introduced-of course they could be donated to many worthy causes or even given to staff but this is walmart and they dont do things like that.

its criminal really but it happens all over every single week.

Throw stock away?!!! Talk about missing out on some sales!!! Any discounted price is better for the store than making absolutely nothing! Supermarkets that do this must be mad, especially in the current economic situation! They should just throw them into a clearance section.
