Was in Asda earlier and noticed they have boxes of 36 tablets, states 18 washes but I only use 1 tablet per wash so 36 washes for £2. They had:

2in1 - Moonflower and Ylang Ylang
Bio
Non Bio
an orange one that doesn't seem to be showing online.

Online is showing sesitive and colour ranges as well.

Works out at 11p a wash if you do 18 (using 2 tablets a time) or 5p per wash for 36 (using 1 tablet per time).

got this too yesterday

I usually have a benchmark of around 10p per wash but have recently found surf (liquid) for around 6p per wash for which I stocked up with about 12 months worth !
18 washes for £2 equates to approx 11p a wash for Asda's own brand washing tablets .. I'd say that was pretty COLD to be honest.
If I were to use half the suggested dose of the Surf I recently bought this would equate to around 3p per wash for branded washing liquid and although this deal isn't currently available I'd say there has to be better deals out there !

It isn't as good as some BUT it's better than other deals currently on. Plus not everyone has the means to buy/store enough washing powder for a year at a time. Each to their own.

Is it really better than all your other options ? £1.69 for 30 washes ... Tesco value powder, not a deal just normal price
You pay your money you take your choice I guess , just don't see this particular offer as much of a 'deal' regardless of your individual circumstances.

Other buying options (currenlty available) include Bold 2 in 1 powder 42 wash (choice of flavours as well i think) for £5.21 - works out at 12.4p a wash and better quality washing powder too
Also Tesco's own which is £5.00 for 42 wash , working out at 11.9p a wash for similar quality to the Asda's brand I would imagine.

Whatever you go for in the end none of the above are worthy of a mention in terms of 'deals' ..... plenty of offers on for washing powder which the supermarkets run quite regularly.

Bold being a better powder is down to opinion though I was my clothes with half the recommended dose as they don't get filthy or anything and come out just as clean using a cheaper brand than a more expensive one.

I thought it was a deal hence why I posted, whether people choose to agree or not is the reason for the heat bar
