Ashampoo Burning Studio 2017

A "not seen before" item from the Downloadmix calendar - I believe it sits somewhere between the full version and the basic free version that's always available

Interesting, the Downloads page has several free full version (or slightly clipped version) items that are not listed under products

Last time I used Ashampoo I was bombarded with Spam emails, never again

So true, spamtastic.

Has anyone installed it, if so is it any good. Thanks

Don't know about that, I always 10minutemail them ;-)

good program. heat added

Is there much point in this nowadays? Any recent version of Windows includes CD and DVD burning as standard.

If you do need extra features, there is decent freeware available, eg ImgBurn or CDBurnerXP.

Who burns stuff to disc these days?

I'm not sure why this keeps getting offered by sites as a giveaway as "Burning Studio 20**" is always free. If you need a burning app and use a temp disposable email to bypass the spam, it is a pretty decent tool.

On the main product page, it only lists "18" and "free" - the 20xx is not highlighted on the site, but looks like it is routinely available in the downloads - and seems to have a bit more in it than the basic "free" - don't know why they don't just move this up to replace the free, as I thought they held it back as a special giveaway.

That's right, most of the 20** range of apps has been free for years but they don't list them on the product's page on their website, however, a Google search usually reveals the page.

The 20** versions always used to be held back for giveaways but as they are freely available at the Ashampoo website, I really don't see why they are offered to websites as giveaways. It's almost like offering CCleaner free or Libreoffice as a giveaway, pointless.

It IS a good prog but as the people rightly say above - spam driven
I recall BUYING Ashampoo Burning Studio 2012 and having a mountain of trouble with it - not accepting the GENUINE serial and their support unhelpful in the extreme. I'd NEVER buy anything from them again after that. Free, yeah OK. Never buy
