No.You will NEVER stop the spam they send once they have you....Terrible.

Easy way around that, just sign up for a 10 minute e-mail, job done

I tried using shampoo to clean my infected hard drive and it shorted the motherboard, the power supply burst into flames and the house burnt down.
That was a valuable lesson; don't do PC repairs after 7 sherries, a Watney's Red Barrel party in a can and 14 chocolate liquors.
I now stick with Special Brew as recommended by Bill Gates himself.
I thought things like this weren't needed since Windows 2000 came out, like memory manager software. OK it's free but something that I don't really think you need these days especially as most people know how to clear the internet history (for obvious reasons!)... Windows should take care of hard drive optimisation automatically and CCleaner is there for free if you really want to clean the registry (shock horror)

But if you like the idea of installing something to solve problems that don't likely exist then this will be just fine for you.

Gets pretty decent reviews.... Perhaps it will help with my flakey Win 8.1 ..... Though over the years I found a complete reinstall from time to time always helps...something though that takes more than 5 mins...
Here is one review...

There's loads of them just google 10 minute mail, the choice is yours If 10 minutes isn't enough, grab a 20 minute one
I have used WinOptimiser before. They bring out a new WinOptimizer version each year and make the older version(s) free. The new ones supposedly have extra features etc and cost money but I believe the older free versions continue to do their job. There are a lot of nagging screens (which you cannot block) and emails (you may need a valid email address to register it and get updates).

Ten min email is a great idea, thanks for the info.

I was able to use it for the shareware site but it will not work to activate the ashampoo optimiser.

"Your e-mail address ("t2953160@mvrht.net") is either invalid or cannot be accepted."

so as TiptreeJam says above, you will need a more perminant email to register.

Yes, unfortunately I realised that too late... stupid me thinking a "major" software firm would be fine...

I currently have about 6 different "junk" email addresses I use specifically for people like this, if they end up fine and not spamming, they get "moved up a league" towards my real email...

Yeah you are right you can do a lot of what this does yourself and there are other programs that do parts of it but I suppose its just conveinant for some to have it in one place. Not saying its good or anything as I have just installed it to try it out and I am like you with stuff like this as sometimes they can cause more harm than good

How can you tell they didn't sell your email address on and your getting the extra spam emails that way?
worked with the 10minutemail link. cheers.

Because it all comes from themselves... They're terrible.
You can download it direct from Ashampoo if you don't feel comfortable with giving your details to sharewareonsale and you can request a free key direct from them after the install.
Ashampoo generates spam and wont leave you alone - there are better products which don't add you to a spam list - I use IObit System care free. This has genuinely useful tools and doesn't infect your computer
